In regards to the thank you list for the Spring Fling program, I forgot to add Donna Cohan to the Member Donation list.

Donna made it possible, by donating the off white material, for me to be able to make the Asian Bento Box Quilt. I just forgot to add her name to the program list.. I want to apologize Donna and thank you for your donation.

Last month we read “Call the Nurse” about a country nurse living on a small Scottish Isle. It was a charming true story about the many calls our nurse made around this little island es-pecially when the doctor was unavailable. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet this month, being so close to Easter.

This month’s book is also about a nurse but with a totally different story line. The name of our book is “Small, Great Things”, by Jodi Picoult. Our nurse in this book is a labor and deliv-ery nurse with 20 years experience. With incredible empathy, intelligence and candor, Picoult tackles race, privilege, prejudice, justice, and compassion and doesn’t offer easy an-swers. This book is on the New York Best Seller’s List . Enjoy!

For the May Luncheon, Diana Monez will be our speaker. It promises to be a very entertaining program. Diana will have a “FUN PERSONALITY QUIZ” that will take a few minutes to complete. What better way to have fun than receiv-ing more information about our personalities and have the opportunity to share with each other.

We are sure everyone will enjoy the results. We promise all the results will be positive. Remember, the results are just for entertainment..

Every person that takes the quiz will receive a favor. Diana has created a beautiful QUILT for the occasion. When you turn in your completed quiz, you will have a chance to win the quilt.

Please note, it is not a requirement that you take the quiz. The choice is com-pletely up to you. However, it promises to be very entertaining and fun day. A wonderful opportunity to spend time with friends we know and love. If you plan to take the quiz, please try to arrive for the luncheon at the Napa General Store close to 11:30 A.M. so you will have time to complete the quiz before the luncheon.

Please join us on May 11th to enjoy Diana’s program and each other. It will be a positive, fun, and entertaining day!!!

Mimi Formosa did an outstanding job designing the gorgeous center pieces for the tables. Her creativity in coordinating the color scheme and arranging the table settings made the room a beautiful place. A beautiful place that makes you feel good just to be there. Thank you Mimi for being a valuable member of the Club

Evelyn Silvera always greets everyone with a great smile. She really makes everyone feel wel-come. Don’t you just want to give her a big hug when you see her smile?

Theresa Clyde thank you and “your crew” for the incredible job selling tickets for the Opportunity Drawing. The decorated baskets and balloons were spot on. Your helpers were great: Mary Ann Hulett, Marlene Frappe and Lilo Dreier
