• Scientific and Technological Information Management in Libraries: an active training environment
• Aims at providing participants with a clearer view on the importance of information.
• Guides participants in retrieving information which is publicly accessible on an international scale.
• Teaches participants how to organise and manage their institutional, regional or national information resources.
GOOD ASPECTS
• The program´s objectives are ideal and if realized, they will have good impact on the participants´ value of work.
• The lecturers knew their stuff (quite good), and most of them were easy to get along with.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Need of computers in the library, and the introduction of a software i.e. cds/isis to enable the library cope with the user’s needs.
• Need to train the existing staff, to enable them work with the new technologies confidently.
