RING OF TRADITION

Graduation is always an exciting time and NTU has established the tradition of laying commemorative class plaques in the University Quadrangle, also known as the Quad. With each year, the layers or rings of plaques increases, forming an ever increasing concentric circle of accomplishments and honour.

The tradition of the Class Plaque was started by the Class of 2005. They have also begun a tradition of making a donation to the University endowment to benefit future generations of students of the University.

To commemorate their graduation, a class plaque, to remain in perpetuity, will be placed in the University Quadrangle by student leaders after the first convocation ceremony. A ring of class plaques, from past, present and the future graduates, will eventually be a central feature of the University Quadrangle.
