Thank you for purchasing the Ubiquiti NanoBridge. This QuickStart Guide is designed to guide you through the installation

of the NanoBridge and show you how to access the airOSConfiguration Interface.

These instructions cover the NanoBridgeM2, model: NB2G18, and

Application Examples

The NanoBridge mounted outdoors without the Dish Reflectorinstalled provides outdoor to indoor coverage using the 3 dBi feed

antenna only.

The NanoBridge mounted outdoors with the Dish Reflectorinstalled provides directional outdoor coverage (gain reflectordependent).

Installation Requirements

10 mm wrench

Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling should be used for allwired Ethernet connections and should be grounded throughthe AC ground of the PoE.

We recommend that you protect your networks from themost brutal environments and devastating ESD attackswith industrialgrade shielded Ethernet cable from Ubiquiti

Installation

Installation

The installation instructions show the NanoBridgeM5; however,the same instructions apply to the NanoBridgeM2.

1. Install the Feed Supportto the Dish Bracketusing the fourM6 Bolt with Lock Washer Assemblies.

2. Install the Dish Bracketto the Dish Reflectorusing the fourM6x12 Carriage Bolts and four M6 Serrated Flange Nuts.

3. Route the Ethernet cable through the bottom hole of the FeedSupportand connect it to the Ethernet port on the back of theAntenna Feed.

4. Insert theAntenna Feedinto the Feed Supportusing theorientation shown below.

Installation

5. Wrap the Feed Support Bushing around the Ethernet cable andthen push it into place in the Feed Support.

6. Attach the dish assembly to the pole using the two M6 U-Bolts,two Pole Bracket Clamps, and four M6 Serrated Flange Nuts.

Note: The mounting assembly can accommodate a 1.25" 2.2" pole.

7. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable from theNanoBridge to the Ethernet port labeled POE on thePoE Adapter.

8. Connect an Ethernet cable from your LAN or computer to theEthernet port labeled LAN on the PoE Adapter.

9. Connect the Power Cordto the power port on the PoE Adapter.

Connect the other end of the Power Cordto a power outlet.

Accessing airOS

Accessing airOS

Connect to the airOS Configuration Interface.

1. Make sure that your host machine is connected to the LAN thatis connected to the device.

2. Configure the Ethernet adapter on your host system with astatic IP address on the 192.168.1.x subnet (e.g., 192.168.1.100).

3. Launch your Web browser. Type http://192.168.1.20 in theaddress field and press enter (PC) or return (Mac).

4. The login screen will appear. Enterubnt in the Username andPasswordfields. Select your Countryand Language. You mustagree to the Terms of Use to use the product. ClickLogin.

Note: U.S. product versions are locked to the U.S. CountryCode to ensure compliance with FCC regulations.

The airOS Configuration Interface will appear allowing you to

customize your settings as needed.

General Warranty

General WarrantyUBIQUITI NETWORKS, Inc (UBIQUITI NETWORKS) represents andwarrants that the Products furnished hereunder shall be free from defects

in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the dateof shipment by UBIQUITI NETWORKS under normal use and operation.UBIQUITI NETWORKS sole and exclusive obligation under the foregoingwarranty shall be to repair or replace, at its option, any defective Productthat fails during the warranty period. The expense of removal andreinstallation of any item is not included in this warranty.

The foregoing warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties,express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantabilityand fitness for a particular purpose and any warranties arising from a

course of dealing, usage or trade practice with respect to the products.Repair or replacement in the manner provided herein shall be the soleand exclusive remedy of Buyer for breach of warranty and shall constitutefulfillment of all liabilities of UBIQUITI NETWORKS with respect to thequality and performance of the Products. UBIQUITI NETWORKS reservesthe right to inspect all defective Products (which must be returned byBuyer to UBIQUITI NETWORKS factory freight prepaid).

No Products will be accepted for replacement or repair without obtaininga Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from UBIQUITI NETWORKS.

Products returned without an RMA number will not be processed and willbe returned to Buyer freight collect. UBIQUITI NETWORKS shall have noobligation to make repairs or replacement necessitated by catastrophe,fault, negligence, misuse, abuse, or accident by Buyer, Buyers customers orany other parties. The warranty period of any repaired or replaced Productshall not extend beyond its original term.

Warranty Conditions

The foregoing warranty shall apply only if:(I) The Product has not been subjected to misuse, neglect or unusual

physical, electrical or electromagnetic stress, or some other type ofaccident.

(II) No modification, alteration or addition has been made to the Productby persons other than UBIQUITI NETWORKS or UBIQUITI NETWORKSauthorized representatives or otherwise approved by UBIQUITINETWORKS.

(III) The Product has been properly installed and used at all times inaccordance, and in all material respects, with the applicable Productdocumentation.

(IV) All Ethernet cabling runs use CAT5 (or above) shielded cabling.

2. There are no operator serviceable parts inside this equipment. Serviceshould be provided only by a qualified service technician.

3. This equipment is provided with a detachable power cord which hasan integral safety ground wire intended for connection to a groundedsafety outlet.

a. Do not substitute the power cord with one that is not the providedapproved type. Never use an adapter plug to connect to a 2wireoutlet as this will defeat the continuity of the grounding wire.

b. The equipment requires the use of the ground wire as a part of thesafety certification, modification or misuse can provide a shockhazard that can result in serious injury or death.

c. Contact a qualified electrician or the manufacturer if there arequestions about the installation prior to connecting the equipment.

d. Protective earthing is provided by Listed AC adapter. Buildinginstallation shall provide appropriate shortcircuit backupprotection.

e. Protective bonding must be installed in accordance with localnational wiring rules and regulations.
