For those who dont know what Joker Poker isthere is a locked cupboard that contains a deck of playing cards turned face down. The idea is to turn over the Joker card to win the Jackpot. So for every drink (either alcoholic or soft drink) you purchase at the bar you get a ticket to participate. All tickets are placed in a bucket and if your ticket is drawn out you get the chance to pick a card off the board (hoping it is the Joker). If the Joker is not picked there are other great prizes to win. At present the prize total for Joker Poker is $850. Each week this increases by $50. So come on down on this Friday night to enjoy a good evening with new and old friends, a chance to win a meat raffle prize and $850. Hope to see you there! Hattah Desert Motorbike Race Fundraiser

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of July 2019

Each year we have a drink stall fundraiser at the Hattah Desert Motorbike race. This event is

our major fundraiser for the year so we welcome as many volunteers to help as possible.

However, this year the race is on during the school holidays which may make it difficult for

some families to volunteer.

Below is a draft schedule for the 2 days. At this stage we are looking at getting a rough

estimate of people who maybe able to attend over the 2 days, so we can ascertain

if we can hold fundraiser.

If you believe you will be free and able to help out can you please fill in the below slip and

return to the school.

Please phone Ben Crum on 0429 264 448 if you have any questions.

We thank you in advance for your support.

This is a friendly reminder of our FREE telephone based parenting education program is for parents, grandparents caring for their grandchildren and carers of children aged 2 to 12 years, living in Victoria. Our aim is to increase access for all families including fathers, grandparents, kinship carers and rural families. Participants will be provided with a workbook or online modules and will be supported by weekly 30 minute phone calls from a trained Parent Educator over a 6 to 10 week period. Appointments are available daytime and evenings. This service is funded by The Department of Health and Human Services. It would be greatly appreciated if you could promote this program in your school newsletter or notice board. A BIG THANK YOU to all the schools who have promoted this program already. It has been well received by many families across our state who were able to find out about us though school newsletters or from staff. If you would like any more information or hard copies of this brochure or poster please feel free to email or call on 1800 880 660. Many Thanks Andrea Slattery Coordinator Positive Parenting Telephone Service
