Applicants shall furnish scanned copies of their NEET Score Card, Plus 2 mark sheet and Pass Certificate & age Proof (SSLC Certificate) along with the application. The candidates also shall submit the Original Transfer certificate and conduct certificate from the previous institution where the candidate was admitted. Copies of the Passport, Visa and undertaking of the NRI, sponsoring the applicant, along with the Certificate from the village Officer in support of the relation of the Sponsor with the applicant as specified and as per the directives issued by AFRC in compliance of the Honourable High Court Order that the sponsor shall declare that the student is dependent on the sponsor for the course of study. The Candidate shall produce the sworn affidavit from the Sponsor in a stamp paper worth Rs.200/-. The same shall also be notarized by the Notary Public, disclosing that the student is dependent of the all expenses ie, tuition fee and special fee, of the candidate for the entire course period will be borne by the Sponsor. Before filling the application form the applicant must read the directions mentioned below from the Admission Supervisory Committee dated 22.01.2020 & 22.10.2020 regarding the NRI admission. Issue of application form begins from 18.01.2021 and the last date of submission of applications online will be on 30.01.2021, at 5.00 pm. The provisional list of applications will be published in our Website and Notice Board on 31.01.2021 (after 5 pm). Read

DIRECTIVES

1. The Admission Supervisory Committee, in short the ASC, have issued

directives for admitting candidates under NRI quota in consideration of the

various judgments of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, including the

judgment in W.P (C) No. 14708 of 2012 (K), Dr. Gowriraj Vs State of Kerala

and 10 others and as per G.O. (MS)No. 243/14/H&FWD dated 06.08.2014.

2. However, during the time of approval of admissions in respect of the Medical

and Allied Courses have found certain irregularities and the admissions of

certain candidates have been withheld for curing the defects. But certain

Medical and Medical Allied Courses have approached the Hon’ble High

Court of Kerala against the withheld order of the ASC. The Hon’ble High

Court of Kerala has issued certain directions for sponsoring the NRI

candidates.

3. The ASC held a meeting on 07.01.2020 and discussed about the judgments

issued by the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala. After elaborate discussion and

deliberation have decided to issue directives as per the directions contained

in the various Hon’ble High Court Judgment and G.O (Ms) No.

243/14/H&FWD dated 06.08.2014. Accordingly, the following directives are

issued clarifying the directives already issued by the ASC.

a. A candidate, who apply for the NRI seat should submit the Passport

copy and Visa/Green Card/OCI Documents of their respective

sponsors. The Job of the sponsor should be mentioned in any of the

above documents.

b. The Visa of the sponsor should be valid till the closing date of

admission in respect of the Medical and Allied Courses.

c. In case, the employment of the sponsor is not mentioned in the above

documents, the candidate has to produce the employment certificate of

the sponsor attested by the Embassy/ Consulate authorities.

d. The certificates clearly establishing the relationship of the sponsor with

the candidate shall be obtained from the revenue authorities, as per

the G.O (Ms) No. 243/14/H&FWD dated 06.08.2014.

e. However, the revelation ship between the candidate and his/her

father/mother, which are recorded in the educational certificates,

maintained in the usual course of transactions by the competent

authorities, shall be accepted.

e. The Candidate shall produce the sworn affidavit from the Sponsor in a

stamp paper worth Rs. 200/-. The same shall also be notarised by the

Notary Public, disclosing that the student is dependent of the sponsor

and the all expenses i.e. tuition fee and special fee, of the candidate for

the entire course period will be borne by the Sponsor.

f. All the certificates/documents required to establish NRI Status/ Non

Creamy Layer /Minority etc. shall be produced at the time of

submission of application itself. The certificate produced later shall not

be entertained under any circumstances.

4. Email this directives to the Principal Secretary, H&FWD, the Commissioner

for Entrance Examinations, the Registrar, KUHS and the Principals of the

Self Financing Medical and Medical Allied Courses for strict compliance.

READ 1. G.O (Rt) No. 375/2020/H&FWD dated 22.02.2020

ORDER

1. The Government of Kerala has issued a G.O dated 22.02.2020 regarding

the submission of documents by the NRI candidates for admission to the

Medical Courses for the academic year 2020-21. On the basis of the

representation received from the aspirants and the clarification sought for

by the CEE, the following directives are issued.

2. In clause „c‟ of the Government order under reference,

“ in case, the employment of the sponsor is not mentioned

in the above documents, the candidate has to produce the

employment certificate of the sponsor attested by

Embassy/Consulate authorities.”

It was brought to notice of the committee that, in view of the present

pandemic situation, many of the embassy/consulate have not started

regular normal functioning and their inability to produce the embassy

documents. Hence, the aspirants are given a month time from the date of

allotment by the CEE or two days prior to the 2nd allotment by the CEE

whichever is earlier to produce the above documents from the

embassy/consulate authorities.

In view of the clarification issued to clause c the Committee hereby further

clarify that the sponsor has to submit sworn affidavit notarised by the

Notary Public, as per the rules and regulations prevailing in the respective

countries, where the sponsor is presently working, undertaking that the

sponsor shall submit the documents as per clause c of the Government

order and as per the clarification issued by the Committee in this

directives. In case the sponsor is already in India, the affidavit shall be

notarised by any of the notary public in a stamp paper worth Rs. 200/-.

4. It is also clarified that the sworn affidavit referred to in clause (f) of the

Government order shall be sworn and notarised by any of the notary public

in a stamp paper worth Rs. 200/-. In case the sponsor is abroad, the

sponsor has to submit the sworn affidavit notarised by the Notary Public,

as per the rules and regulations prevailing in the respective countries,

where the sponsor is presently working

5. Email this order to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and the

Principals of the Colleges/ Institutions, who are conducting the Medical &

Allied Courses.
