Parts of a Sentence• The naming part of a sentence

does two things:o It names a person, place, animal, or thingo It tells who or what the sentence is about

Example• The girl sees a bird.

• The girl is the naming part.

Example• Renee likes Mary Poppins.

• Renee is the naming part.
