L. Summary of my Activities and Future Plans

My research is oriented towards evaluation of activities and services of the

Ministry of Health. This is mainly done by consistent monitoring of diseases,

collecting data about screening tests and vaccination coverage within the Mother

and Child Healthcare centers and by conducting researches either with the help

of the available personnel or by medical students, PhD or MPH students.

I intend to focus my activities and researches in the future on two fields in

particular:

1. Health indicators in the population according to religion, especially among

Arabs and the factors that affect them.

2. Environmental effects on the health of the population on the one hand, and the

environmental crisis and sustainability, on the other hand.
