sea leaf beak meat cheap
heat real teach weak beach
Read the sentences.
1. I saw a real bean at the beach.
2. Can you reach for the leaf in my beak?
3. I will teach you how to eat meat.
Read the passage.
I wake up from my dreams and remember that today is the day my family and I will go to the beach. We eat our meal of beans then I put on my swimmers. In the car I reach for my seatbelt and put it on. We drive to the beach and lean out the window to see the sand and sea. Dad leads us to the part of the beach with the flags. I see a seagull with a leaf in its beak. Then we all run to the sea and splash in the water to beat the heat. When we reach lunch time, we leave the beach to buy some cheap chips and meat to eat. We plead with Mum and Dad to please let us have an ice-cream and they say yes. My sister teases me because I have ice-cream on my chin so I clean it up. What a neat way to spend a day in my favourite season!
