DURABILITY

Naish sails use more than 25 different materials, including multiple-laminated technical scrims, warp Kevlar taffeta reinforcement tapes, high-tenacity seam tapes and the finest woven Tetoron and sleeve material available. For 2015, we have also introduced an evolution of our Spectraview Window Technology for dramatically improved visibility. All of our laminated materials are manufactured by Dimension-Polyant in the USA and Germany and our warp-oriented Tetoron is supplied by Teijin in Japan.

The unique geometry of our pulley offers both traditional 6:1 AND 4:1 “loop-and-go” rigging.

The radial clew is the strongest and lightest design in the industry. A custom titanium ring is connected directly to radial Kevlar load strips via high-tenacity nylon webbing. The Warp Kevlar taffeta leech and foot tapes carry the perimeter loads.

Durable molded EVA tack fairing folds back for easy rigging and protects the sailor’s feet, mast and board. It features a grommet for the uphaul line and a mesh pocket with a Velcro closure for storing the downhaul line.

Naish sails include comprehensive lightweight PVC scuff protection for both sides of the sail.

Naish sails are engineered with an advanced construction technology that combines ultralight, high-tech materials with load-bearing Kevlar and carbon tapes that dissipate critical loads and ensure optimum strength and durability. The result is direct power delivery, low swing weight and more responsive low-end performance.

Over the years, Naish riders have come to rely on the fact that our sails are the toughest and strongest available and this year’s range is no exception. Every aspect of the sail is designed to deliver the optimum strength-to-weight ratio and every construction detail is meticulously tested on the water. Striking a critical balance between light weight and durability, the batten pocket balances the power loads and has scuff protection on both sides of the sail.

A downhaul pulley that integrates a lightweight die-cast stainless steel housing and low-friction Nylatron GSM pulleys. It provides both standard 6:1 and 4:1 rigging options. This system makes downhauling very easy and reduces wear and tear on the downhaul line.

The boom opening has a long sleeve cutout for easy rigging and features position markers that enable perfect boom positioning every time you rig.

A completely new take on the cambered freeride/slalom concept, the new X2 is the perfect solution for riders seeking early planing, top-end speed and incredibly easy jibing in an ultralight package.

Designed with just 2 cams and 5 battens, the X2 goes head-to-head with 3-cam/7-batten freerace sails, yet is lighter, easier to handle and easier to rig. The low aspect ratio and moderately wide sleeve deliver incredible low-end power and acceleration, while 4 tube battens lock in the shape, making the X2 easy to control when overpowered. SCOUTBeginner/School Sail/Rig Package

Ideal for beginning windsurfers, the durable, easy-handling Scout is specifically designed for windsurfing centers and schools. This sail is also a great option for crossover SUPs. Engineered to make entry-level sailing fun and easy, the Scout has a responsive design that works well for riders of all shapes and sizes. Traditional Dacron and PVC combined with high-quality construction make the sail tough and extremely long lasting. The Scout also features a convenient pocket to store the batten and a clew strap, so that the sail can be rolled around the mast when not in use. For 2016, the sizes will be color-coded to facilitate identification on the water.

Available in two constructions, the new Titan 120 and 130 offer early planing and great all-around freeride performance with minimal effort.
