I am presently employed in Abu Dhabi as Manager Projects responsible for six towers of 80 to 43 floors (2008-till date). o Manage, administer and co-ordinate with my sub-ordinates, program and monitor all

o Liaise with Client, Lead Architects, Lead Consultants and other Service providers to solve the prime issues pertaining to the project progress.

o Review Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings issued by the lead consultants. Correct, comment and issue the same using Auto-Cad, Structural soft wares to sub contractors to prepare the shop drawings.

o Review shop drawings issued by the sub contractors in line with the consultant drawings and issue the same with either Status B or Status A at site for construction.

o Prepare Master program using Microsoft Project /Primavera soft wares and pass on the assistant planners and monitor the same with detailed activities.

o Guide my assistant planners to prepare regular Monthly, Bi-weekly, Weekly reports. Review and check them and then submit to clients and other heads.

o Guide my assistant planners to prepare Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly look ahead program. Review and check them and submit to PD, PM and C & S Team.

o Review MEP drawings, Infrastructure drawings of the entire development plot, Co-ordinate and chair meetings with Client, Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP Consultants, Main contractor, Infra contractors, Authorities and in house team with respect to effective planning and execution.

o Monitor the progress and record the lag and lead in the project. Show and highlight the important critical issues and ways and means to implement them in order to mitigate the lag period found in the project.

o Check on quantities of works from the drawings and its variation from the original contract document and prepare V.O. for the additional works.

o Give important tips to the Contracts department on the issues of V.O. and additional sum. o Prepare the chronology of the events pertaining to the activities of progress and prepare

and quantity of work. o Direct, coordinate; execute the works as per the priority. o Chair site meetings along with the subordinates and supervisory staff personnel with

respect to the various construction activities. o Prepare labor histograms and highlight the need and importance of works at proper stages. o Direct and allot responsibilities to the sub-ordinates, site engineers, supervisors and site

EXPOSURE TO STRUCTURAL SOFTWARE LIKE:

o ETABS: Used it in analyzing and design of 4 towers in Al Reem Island, Research Thesis, from UAEU, Abu Dhabi, for the design of very tall structures to assess the “Structural performance and economics of high-rise buildings under seismic & wind loads”; and “The study on Earthquake and Wind forces adopted by International Standards for High-rise buildings” to compare on the analysis with different international codes on various building models ranging from 80 floors to 150 floors.

o SAFE 14: Used it in design of Reinforced concrete slabs and Pre-Stressed concrete slabs along with the design of various foundations for the above projects.

o CSI Columns: Used it in modeling, analyzing and designing odd shaped columns which

were encountered in the above projects.

o PERFORM 3D, Zeus NL and SAP 2000: Used it in the above Research Thesis for the Non-Linear analysis of structures. Used SAP 2000 to analyze and design complicated modeling of structural elements which were encountered in my projects.

1. Residential & Apartment Buildings (1992-2007 July) Palatial Building in Bidasar (Rajasthan): (1999-2001):

As a Chief Consultant I had designed a Residential Palatial Building for the Bengani’s at Bidasar, Rajasthan, in an area of 20,000 Sft. It was designed with a state of art technology by maintaining

the room temperature at a favourable good position irrespective of the aggressive ambient temperature by creating the use of Venturi effects, refractory air media maintaining temperature without much use of artificial means like ACs and Heaters.

Palatial Building in Bangalore: (2006-07):

Karol Palace: As a Chief Consultant a Palatial Building was designed in an area of 4 acres belonging to M/s Karol Oils, Bangalore. The unique concept of this building is that it is designed in the form of a Rose flower when seen with aerial view. It contains all the features that are to be in a Palatial building as it amenities and the entire material required for the project was outsourced from various places and Eco-friendly things were considered in its design and concept.

Residential Building for the Managing Director of TYCO in Indiranagar in Bangalore &

Managing Director for Nalapad Group of Companies in Magrath Road in Bangalore and a Residential Building in Aligarh considering the eco-friendly aspects.

Residential Apartments in Bangalore: (1995-2007):

Team-Sara an apartment Complex comprising of 60 units in Indiranagar, Bangalore, in an area of 20,000 Sft.

HAC & S, Towers, Apartment Complex designed and executed in Frazer town, & Crown Towers

an Apartment Block designed and executed in D’Costa Square both in Bangalore.

Conceptual drawings issued to Karnataka Board of Wakfs for a LIG 250 Apartments in Hameed Shah Area in Bangalore.

Conceptual drawings issued to Mr. SS Qadri, President Sunni Jameatul Ulama for his Apartment

block, “The Grace” comprising of 200 units in Chamrajpet, Bangalore.

2. Commercial Buildings & Multiplex Complexes: Commercial complexes: (1994-2006):

Erhali: I was as the main consultant for a Victorian style building built on the modern sophisticated lines with huge spans inside to absorb the interiors of a software office and architectural capitals, flutes and columns in the exterior for the beauty of the building in Indiranagar for Mr. Akmal Jan.

M/s Nalapad InfoTech: Structural consultant and project manager for a Software building which

can house about 500 employees was designed for seven floors for Nalapad Group of companies.

Eastern Stores, Sri Krishna, Chettupuzha Jewels, Al-Karam are some of the prominent buildings which were built under my Planning, Management and Supervision skills in Commercial Street, Bangalore.

Involved in preparing the Conceptual drawings for the Multi-plex in Sothe Shah and Manik Shah

Property comprising of commercial, residential, educational blocks in Avenue Road, Bangalore, belonging to Karnataka Board of Wakfs.

3. Hotels & Hospitals: Hotels:

I was involved right from the concept of inception till its final completion for some of the well known hotels of 3 star categories in Bangalore such as Hotel Suraksha Park on J.C. Road, Bangalore (1999-2002) comprising of 70 rooms with optimum use of space along with project management and a restaurant in the terrace.

Hotel Annapurna (2001-2004) comprising of 120 rooms in Gandhinagar, Bangalore was designed

on the same lines for about 9 floors with all the facilities as shown in drawing 07.

Hotel Nalapad Residency in Mangalore is under progress with my involvement of project drawings and management comprising of 94 rooms with indoor temperature maintained lap pool along with massage, steam, sauna, gym and all facilities and a terrace restaurant opening to the ocean face along with multistory car parking and dual basements for all the amenities designed on the hill side area.

Hotel Bangalore International (1999-2004) at crescent road in Bangalore comprising of 85 rooms

with all the amenities etc., complete.

Hotel Nalapad residency under progress in Kempe Gowda road, Bangalore, comprising of 94 rooms with a terrace swimming pool.

Hospitals: (1997)

Hameed Shah and Muhib Shah Welfare Charitable Hospital in Cottonpet main road comprising of 120 beds belonging to Karnataka Board of Wakfs.

4. Public, Semi-public & School buildings: Public & Semi-public Buildings:

I was involved in the planning, design and management of a multipurpose function Hall (1998) built in an area of 25,000 Sft in Tumkur District involving all the architectural skills with greater spans for clear visibility for auditorium functions needs.

I was involved in the proposal for the Re-organisation of the Police Commissionarate, Bangalore,

which was at the home ministry level putting their jurisdictions on the initiative of Global positioning system.

I was also involved in restoring the historic Commercial street Police Station, Bangalore by

renovating and restoring the entire architectural features which was even highlighted in most of the daily news papers for its work.

5. Exhibition cum Convention centre: Exhibition cum convention centre:

I had given a proposal for the International Exhibition cum Convention centre about 70Kms off Bangalore on Tumkur Highway on a stretch of land of 36 Acres, comprising of 2 Exhibition Halls

each of 160,000 Sft designed to the state of art technology which can house 5000 people with Two restaurants and huge lobby, etc., complete along with an educational Block for the technical training, Convention centres, fast food joints, 5 star hotel accommodation for the guests along with 2600 car parking all estimating to Indian currency Rs. 300 Crores for International organisation from UK for whose planning I was awarded the International award of excellence in 2002.
