CUI is a major threat to the safety operation of aged plants because corrosion rate of CUI is very scattered, and it is very difficult to predict where to be inspected and when to be repaired. The result of research and development project of CUI modeling, which is supported by METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and NEDO (New Energy and industrial Technology Development Organization) of Japan, will be explained in the seminar. 13,600 inspection data of CUI gathered from 13 chemical companies in Japan have been analyzed by machine learning and CUI prediction model has been developed. The CUI model has been open to the chemical companies and verified by additional 2,400 inspection. The seminar is 60 minutes long, which lectured by English and simultaneous interpretation to Japanese will also be provided.
