There are no additional ingredients present which, within the current knowledge of the supplier and in theconcentrations applicable, are classified as hazardous to health or the environment and hence require reporting inthis section.

Do not attempt to give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If victim is alert andnot convulsing, rinse out mouth and give 1/2 to 1 glass of water to dilute material.IMMEDIATELY get medical attention. Vomiting should only be induced under thedirection of a physician or poison control center. If spontaneous vomiting occurs, havevictim lean forward with head down to avoid inhalation of vomitus, rinse mouth andadminister more water. IMMEDIATELY transport victim to an emergency facility.

Check for and remove any contact lenses. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of waterfor at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. If irritationpersists, repeat flushing. Obtain medical attention immediately.

Start flushing while removing contaminated clothing. Wash affected areas thoroughlywith soap and water. If irritation, redness, or a burning sensation develops and persists, repeat flushing. Obtain medical attention.

Move victim to fresh air. Give artificial respiration ONLY if breathing has stopped. Givecardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) if there is no breathing AND no pulse. Obtainmedical attention immediately.

First aid measures4 .In case of inhalation of decomposition products in a fire, symptoms may be delayed. The exposed person may need to be kept under medical surveillance for 48 hours. Thisproduct contains materials that may cause severe pneumonitis if aspirated. If ingestionhas occurred less than 2 hours earlier, carry out careful gastric lavage. Useendotracheal cuff if available, to prevent aspiration. Observe patient for respiratorydifficulty from aspiration pneumonitis. Give artificial resuscitation and appropriatechemotherapy if respiration is depressed.

Notes to physician :

Use an extinguishing agent suitable for the surrounding fire.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

Promptly isolate the scene by removing all persons from the vicinity of the incident ifthere is a fire. No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitabletraining. Spilled material may cause floors and contact surfaces to become slippery.

In a fire or if heated, a pressure increase will occur and the container may burst. Non-flammable. Water content of the product prevents ignition.

Special protectiveequipment for fire-fighters

Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathingapparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.

Flammability of the product :

No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.Evacuate surrounding areas. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel fromentering. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Avoid breathing vapor or mist.Provide adequate ventilation. Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation isinadequate. Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see section 8).

Stop leak if without risk. Move containers from spill area. Approach release fromupwind. Prevent entry into sewers, water courses, basements or confined areas. Washspillages into an effluent treatment plant or proceed as follows. Contain and collectspillage with non-combustible, absorbent material e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite ordiatomaceous earth and place in container for disposal according to local regulations(see section 13). Dispose of via a licensed waste disposal contractor. Contaminatedabsorbent material may pose the same hazard as the spilled product. Note: see section1 for emergency contact information and section 13 for waste disposal.

Environmental precautions

Accidental release measures

: Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drainsand sewers. Inform the relevant authorities if the product has caused environmentalpollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air).

Personal precautions :

Large spill :

Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container protected fromdirect sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials(see section 10) and food and drink. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until readyfor use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept uprightto prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabeled containers. Use appropriate containmentto avoid environmental contamination. Avoid freezing. Protect against physical damageto containers. Confirm the suitability of any container material before using.

Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see section 8). Eating, drinking andsmoking should be prohibited in areas where this material is handled, stored andprocessed. Workers should wash hands and face before eating, drinking and smoking.Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Do not breathe vapor or mist. Do not ingest. Ifduring normal use the material presents a respiratory hazard, use only with adequateventilation or wear appropriate respirator. Keep in the original container or an approvedalternative made from a compatible material, kept tightly closed when not in use. Emptycontainers retain product residue and can be hazardous. No specific guidelines available. Use a properly fitted, air-purifying or air-fed respiratorcomplying with an approved standard if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary.Respirator selection must be based on known or anticipated exposure levels, thehazards of the product and the safe working limits of the selected respirator. Ifventilation is inadequate, use NIOSH certified respirator which will protect againstorganic vapors.

Safety eyewear complying with an approved standard should be used when a riskassessment indicates this is necessary to avoid exposure to liquid splashes, mists, gases or dusts. Contact lenses should not be worn when working with this material.

Personal protective equipment for the body should be selected based on the task beingperformed and the risks involved and should be approved by a specialist before handlingthis product. Gloves and clothing made from butyl rubber, neoprene, or viton should beimpervious under conditions of use. Prior to use, the user should confirmimpermeability. Discard contaminated gloves.

:

Wear chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard whenhandling this product.

Hands :

Engineering measures : If user operations generate dust, fumes, gas, vapor or mist, use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep worker exposure toairborne contaminants below any recommended or statutory limits.

Hygiene measures : Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling chemical products, beforeeating, smoking and using the lavatory and at the end of the working period. Appropriatetechniques should be used to remove potentially contaminated clothing. Washcontaminated clothing before reusing. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showersare close to the workstation location.

Recommended monitoringprocedures

: If this product contains ingredients with exposure limits, personal, workplace atmosphereor biological monitoring may be required to determine the effectiveness of the ventilationor other control measures and/or the necessity to use respiratory protective equipment.

Environmental exposurecontrols

: Emissions from ventilation or work process equipment should be checked to ensure theycomply with the requirements of environmental protection legislation. In some cases, fume scrubbers, filters or engineering modifications to the process equipment will benecessary to reduce emissions to acceptable levels.
