Breakfast Amaya Grab a breakfast picnic from Amaya before heading out on your tour of the Picuris Pueblo. You can order your breakfast the prior evening or the morning of with a short wait.
Tour Picuris Pueblo (Please reserve a week in advance, speak with the concierge)
Take a tour of Picuris Pueblo. A guide will meet you at the pueblo and take you around. The pueblo is nestled in the “hidden valley” of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, about one hour north of Santa Fe.
Your tour guide will share the history and cultural significance of its location and the Picuris rituals.
For a more scenic drive, take the High Road (NM 503) through Chimayo (NM 98) and Peñasco (NM 76).
Be sure to bring plenty of water, good walking shoes, and layered clothing.
