Acting graduates and working sister and brother Bella Rose Maltzman and Ethan Chayton Maltzman have been busy. They played ferral children during apocalyptic times in a movie called Lean Times that premiered this past September at the Melbourne Independent Film Festival. Both have acted in other independent films titled Room 236 and Heartbreak with Valencia Productions. Bella and Ethan also filmed infomercials for Flavored Chef and Amber Child Safety Systems. Ethan just shot a short film in West Palm Beach called That Blue Devil plus landed a national commercial for Holiday Inn. Bella just finished filming a lead role as Emilee in a Full Sail film titled Take Me Away as well as a documentary film just released about her and her aspirations called Little Big Dreamer. She also shot a national commercial for Party City for Halloween. Mom Jody says, “The skills they learned at your 8 week monologue and scene study program proved invaluable in the entertainment industry, and I just wanted to thank you for all you do.” Ethan is 12 years old and attends New Hope Christian Academy and enjoys playing video games and writing short stories with illustrations. Bella is 8 years old and in the 4th grade. She enjoys dancing, modeling and building new dance skills with acrobatics and

musical theatre. Keep up the great work Ethan and Bella.

Maile acting graduates Angela and Christopher Winiewicz have been staying busy in the industry. Angela booked commercials for Orlando Federal Credit Union, Lake Myrtle Dental, Ball Pets, LegoLand Windsor Water Park, Disney Golden Oak Resort, Citgo, and two trips to Nassau Paradise Island for the Tourism Board as well as a PSA for Tampa Theater. She shot a commercial and printwork for Legoland and is now one of their child ambassadors getting to do all kinds of fun promotions. Her print work includes landing the cover of Playground

Magazine with a spread on the inside, Bealls, & RonJon Surf Shop. Christopher is 6 years old and in the 1st grade. He has done commercials for Legoland Florida and Legoland Windsor Water Park. His print work includes Belks, Bealls, Pinch-a-Penny, Harcourt Publishing for a math book and he was featured in Parenting magazine as “Cameron” from Ferris Buellers Day Off for their back to school issue. Influential, motivating, magnetic personality, brilliant smile with a various appetite for his craft. That’s Bryan Dawson Brown and those adjectives epitomize his personality. This Floridian is home grown and proud of it. Bryan graduated from Florida A & M University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. It was at FAMU that he was smitten with the acting bug. Although his course work permitted him to view the world from all camera angles, his heart is in the front of the camera. After graduation, he attended Maile School’s adult acting program to hone his skills. Brian said, “The Maile School ensured that each class offered effective practical lessons in the highly competitive field of acting and without their training and encouragement I would

not have had the opportunities presented thus far”.

A few of his career accomplishments on his resume are theatre plays such as A Diamond in the Rough, feature films, short films, music videos, web series as well as national and local commercials for clients such as Tires Plus, ChallengeMyRate.com, Brighthouse, Trojan, Nissan, Insight Credit Union and Daytona Kennel Club. Way to go Brian. We see you all the

time on TV!

Maile School image, modeling & acting grad Haley Simons modeled in this years Park Avenue Fashion Week runway show forRed Carpet Couture. This is her second year modeling for the event. Haley has also modeled for Miami International Fashion Week. Haley has been involved with modeling and acting since the age of 5, but has focused more on modeling since reaching her current height of 6’0″. Haley is a 17 year old senior at Leesburg High and a freshman at

Lake Sumter State College. She is currently the senior class secretary, president of Triad club, and also stays active with ASA elite dance company competition team. She plans on attending Florida State University next year unless she lands a big modeling contact in New York City! Mom Cari, says, “Thanks to The Maile School for always

Acting grad & Maile School instructor Debra Foxx is a believer. She believes her future as a model, a host, a teacher, an actress, and a philanthropist is bright and meticulously planned by her Creator. Described as having the “it” factor, Debra has used her experiences and journey to inspire and motivate others to live their dreams. For the past six years she’s worked on numerous commercials, fashion shows, film, &

TV projects, to name a few, and boasts quite an impressive resume.

Some clients include Mercedes Benz, Amscot, Macy’s, HSN, WKMG, Fields BMW, Scholastic Ideas, Melaleuca, Orlando Country Club, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Osteo Bi-Flex. As an instructor at The Maile School Debra not only shares her knowledge with her students but also her understanding of the business and what it takes to be successful. She approaches every class with great enthusiasm and an immense desire to encourage

them to do their best. She finds teaching at The Maile School extremely rewarding.

The Maile School welcomes Kaitlyn Chana to our teaching staff. Kaitlyn is a journalist who has covered stories from the Mexican Cartel drug bust to the latest fashion trends. Her love for storytelling is intertwined with her involvement in the community. Kaitlyn worked this past summer in NYC for the Today Show along side Matt Lauer, Al Rocker and Brian Williams to name a few. She is the Founder and President of a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, Love Letters: Random Cards of Kindness, Inc., whose mission is to create positive and inspirational homemade cards for children with life-threatening illnesses. She has traveled the country representing teenagers for various companies and

was a torchbearer in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Kaitlyn is a former competitive advanced interview ambassador for Business Professionals of America. She loves working with teenagers and being an aid as they foster their own path in achieving their dreams. Kaitlyn says, “Everyone in life has a personal story of excitement, love, desperation, hurt or a driven message.” As a journalist and active community member, Kaitlyn strives to bring truth and purpose while helping people’s voices to be heard. She will be teaching interviewing and communication skills in our
