Rhiannon Garrett - Miss Dorothy
Rhiannons love of music and theatre is no coincidence her tltlmilys musical history dates back from the mid 19 century in Vienna to her rather graduating as a professional tenor at the London College or Music Therefore it is no surprise that this passion has been with her from an early age
Having appeared in several shows since joining NOS and Nomads in 2005 she has been encouraged to take on this her first principle role She has thoroughly enjoyed developing the character of Miss Dorothy and is very excited to be part of the talented cast
Chris Austin - Trevor Graydon Chris has been on stage
with the Society since 1968 and is just as happy in the back row of the chorus as he is taking the lead He has also enjoyed playing numershy
ous character roles from Bu zz Collins to Sir Evelyn Oakley - Trevor Graydon is the latest in this line but is an especial challenge as he is supposed to have matinee idol looks so at 51 Chris will have to be t1rst in queue for make up this week

Shaun Blake - Ching Ho
Although Shaun has performed various roles in several productions thb b the firSt time hc has bcen required to speak another language Especially one with so many strange pronunchuions with lIHuh mm mhing s Illdak s and noghjcun mais One light reliefwith this role is that fbr the first time he docs not have to change costume once and to him that really is a miracle Shaun has been a member ofNlt-wbufy Operatic Society for 4 years now having made his debut in ~oulh Pacilic in 2003 Prior tl] hi s promotion hc spcnt 7 years with the Newbury Youngslars and performed shows such as Bugsy Malone Singing in the Rain and Return to thc Forbidden Planet This is only hi second time 1(If the Newbury Operatic Society in a principal role his first being Ambmse Kemper in Ilcllo Dolly lie alsl enjoys skiing and works in an office as an administrator Shaun is currently rehearSing for Godspel to be pershyformed in May at St Nicks Church where he will play the role of Judas All there is to say is sit back enjoy the show and pai pai chou (subtitle clap your hands)
