Pointers Pick Up & Drop off As our school grows we are experiencing more families utilising the quick pick up and drop off system at the front of our school. We are unique in the fact that we personally greet your kids in the morning and put them in the car for you at the end of the day. We are in need of our parents help to keep this system running efficiently, so we are asking parents and kids to please do the following:

Meet and Greet – Please have your child use their manners when getting in and out of the car, a 'please' and 'thank you' a 'good morning', 'see you later' goes a long way in making this busy time run smoothly.

Be patient – There are often circumstances beyond our control that hold up the line of cars moving. Please be reassured that we will be doing our best to get the cars moving through as fast as we can so please bare with us.

Independence - When your child is getting in the car at pick up can you please ensure they can put their seatbelt on by themselves, as having parents get out of their cars does hold up the flow of traffic.

School Bags & Belongings – Can you please have your child hop in the car with their school bag, as placing school bags in other locations e.g. The boot, does hold up our flow of traffic. Also can you please talk to your child about having their belongings all together and in their bags ready to hop in the car.

Be Alert – Please remind your child to be on the look out for their car so they can be ready to jump in when their car arrives at a teacher on duty.

Thank you for your support and co-operation with our Pick Up and Drop Off system.

Please see our map/plan below concerning our traffic management. We really urge you to ensure you

do not park on the gravel area near the large skip bins as this is a staff area and it is unsafe for children

to be moving about in this area.

Brain Food It is important to note that the students with severe food allergies will be working in different learning areas/rooms across the unit where eating takes place. Because brain food is eaten inside, we ask parents to support us by only sending along brain food from the following list. Please note: This list does not contain any types of cereals.

Fresh fruit (Pre-prepared pieces) Popcorn (Plain)

Dried fruit Cheese

Fresh Vegetables Rice Crackers (Please check labels. Rice Crackers labelled ‘May Contain Traces of Nuts’ are OK to send along)

Canteen If you are using the APP please remember to hit additional comments before adding any items to your

basket, be sure to pop your child's name and NEW class in there 😀 Remember ALL lunches go out at 1:30pm, so just ignore the APP asking you for a pick up time, just select ASAP. Please use additional comments if you would like an item to be put aside for your child at recess. If you are new to all this, no stress! Please feel free to pop over and see us in the canteen, we are here

to help 😁

Full NASH LANE coffee service available from 8:15am to help with those post Holiday blues 😜

Cheers, Annie & Shez

What is Yammer?

Yammer Is A Social Network for Our School

Yammer is essentially a social network that’s entirely focused on our school. In order to join our Yammer network, you must be invited in by an administrator. Please ensure our office staff has your email address so we can send you an invite.

We have created a private group for every student in the school. It is a locked group and only

administrators can invite or accept your request to join, this means that we know exactly who can see

the information in your child’s group.

Have some real input to your child’s learning.

You can comment, like and reply to all posts your child or child’s teachers make. You can contact the

teacher directly and keep up to date with what your child is doing at school. This can be done from your

computer, tablet or smartphone. Don’t want to login? That’s ok too; you can have all this emailed to you

automatically.

Yammer has apps for iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone. Meaning you can keep up to date and contribute to conversations about your child anywhere, anytime! Guitar lessons Guitar lessons will commence week of 5th February and there are spots still available for Group or

Individual lessons 🎸

Thank you Iwan Soebardi [email protected]
