This User Manual Guides an Online User to: 1) Register Online for PG Entrance Exam by
Registered Email ID and Mobile Number
2) Login with the Received Password and Change the
Password
3) Fill in the Application Form by Selecting the
Required Courses
4) Resetting Login Password if the User Forgets the
Login Password after Registration
5) Pay Fee in Online Mode or Offline Mode
6) Download Hall Ticket for the Applied Courses
7) Re-Login If User wants to Apply for New Courses
8) Download Latest Hall Ticket which Contains the
Fee Details of Newly Applied Courses Appended
with Already Applied Courses

Procedure for PG Entrance Exam Application
Step 1: Registration Process 1) For New Registrations of PG Entrance Exam Application, use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
or Internet Explorer Browser and enter the Website Address given below:
http://pgadmissions.uni-mysore.ac.in/
2) As soon as you visit this page, click on the link
Live Application PG Entrance Exam (From 16th June to 26th June)
3) It Will Redirect to the Registration Page. Then Click on New Applicant
If the User Forgets/Losses the
Password then clicking on Reset
Password will Resend the
Password to the Specified Email ID
If the User enters a Wrong
Password for more than 3 times
then that User Account will be
locked and it will be re-activated
only after 24 Hours

4) Enter the Following Details and Click on Sign Up
5) After Entering the above details click on Sign Up. Then the following Message will be Displayed
6) The Password will be Send to the User’s Registered Email & Mobile Number. Then Click on Login
Click on Sign Up after entering the following Details:
1) Username
(Should be remembered by the User for future logins)
2) Email ID
(Password will be Send to the Specified Email ID)
3) Mobile No.
(Password will be Send to the Specified Mobile No.)
4) Captcha Code
(Verification Code is Case-Sensitive)

Step 2: Logging into the User Dashboard 7) In the Login Page Click on Login after entering the Username & Password
(Password Received on Registered Email/Phone No.)
8) Once the Registered User logs in, the User Dashboard will be displayed with the Username.
Then the User should click on Change Password
9) The User should enter the Current Password and Specify a Password & Retype Password and
then Click on Update Password
10) Once the Password is updated the following Message will be displayed.
Then the User Should click on Go to Dashboard

11) As soon as the Password is updated, the User will get an SMS to the Registered Mobile No.
Step 3: Filling Online PG Entrance Exam Application Form 12) In the User Dashboard the User should click on Apply New
13) Once the Application form is Opened the User should Fill in all the Mandatory Fields in the PG
Entrance Exam Application highlighted with an * and Select the PG Courses and then click on
Continue

14) User can Preview the filled Application before saving the application and User can edit the
details in this preview page by clicking on Modify Details. If No Modifications are required then
click on Save Application.

15) User will get an Email to the Registered Mail ID specifying the Status of your Registration along
with the Registration Number

16) User will also get an SMS to the Registered Mobile Number specifying the Status of your
Registration along with the Registration Number
17) Once the Applicant clicks on Save Application the application will be redirected to Payment
Preview Page
Step 4: Fee Payment 18) User should click on Payment in the Payment Preview Page
***NOTE:
Registration Id Should be remembered for Fee Payment

19) Once the user clicks on Payment the user needs to Agree to the Terms and conditions specified
and then clicking on Proceed will redirect to E-Payment Page
20) In the E-Payment Page check the Acceptance check box (Terms and conditions) and click on
Proceed
***NOTE:
Any Partial Fee Payment by a Candidate would lead to withholding admission
ticket. To get admission ticket the candidate has to pay full fees depending
upon number of courses/subjects opted.
***For Example:
If a User Applies for 5 Subjects and Pays Fee for less than 5 Subjects then that
Particular User will not Get Admission Ticket even for the Paid Subjects also

21) Select the Payment Category as APPLICATION FEES/ONLINE ENTRANCE EXAM (PG COURSES)
22) Fill in all the *Mandatory Fields highlighted with an *, enter the Registration No. Received in the
Registered Email and then click on Submit

23) Once Verify all the Details and confirm the Transaction by clicking on Confirm Button
24) Once the User clicks on Confirm then the user will be redirected to Fee Payment Mode Page
(State Bank MOPS) and the Fee Payment can be Done in any one of the following 3 Modes:
a) Internet Banking
b) Card Payments (Credit/Debit Cards)
c) Other Payment Modes (Offline Mode)

25) When the User Selects State Bank of India Internet Banking then the following Page will be
Displayed and the User Should Pay the Fee Using SBI Internet Banking Login Credentials
26) When the User Selects Other Banks Internet Banking , the following Page will be Displayed and
the User Should Pay the Fee by Selecting any one of the Banks from the Listed Banks and
clicking on Make Payment Button (Use the Selected Bank Internet Banking Login Credentials)

27) When the User Selects Card Payments ,the following Page will be Displayed and the User Should
Pay the Fee by filling all the Required Card Credentials

28) When the User Selects Other Payment Modes (Offline Mode), the following Page will be
displayed. The User should Click on Click here to save the Pre-Acknowledgement Form in PDF
29) Payment Details will be Captured Successfully in the Pre Acknowledgement form and the Other
Details should be filled in the Form and the User should click on
Print & Submit the Pre Acknowledgement Payment form to the Branch for Payment
30) Once the Fee Payment is done, the user will get an E-Receipt with a Print Option

31) Finally the user can Download Hall ticket on the Date Specified from the University of Mysore
Web Portal from the User Dashboard by clicking on Download Hall ticket
32) Downloaded Hall ticket will Contain the following Details of the user with 2 Copies
a) College Copy
b) Student Copy
***NOTE:
Once Hall Tickets are uploaded then Date will be announced in University of Mysore Web
Portal for Downloading Hall Ticket

33) If the User wants to Apply again for some other courses then the user can login with the
Credentials, and then click on Apply New Courses
34) After Clicking on Apply New Courses the User will be redirected to the Page where the User can
Select the Courses and Clicking on Apply will Redirect to Payment Preview Page
35) From Payment Preview Page the User should follow the Procedure from
Step 18 to Step 32
36) Now when the User Clicks on Download Hall ticket the Hall ticket will contain the details of all
the Newly Applied PG Courses Appended with the Previously Applied PG Courses and Fee Paid
by the user till date.
