Design and Development of an Entry Security System for an Establishment:

Undergraduate thesis:Design and Development of an Entry-Security System for an Etablishment under the supervision of Prof. Dr. S.M. Lutful Kabir ,Director ,IICT, BUET.

The main theme of this system is based on an identification card, which is used to identify a card-holder . This applicationrequires some personal information about every card bearer ,as names, address , designation etc and these information arestored in a computer . The individual identification codes are expressed by binary codes 0 &1 with two different shades on the I.D.card.

A card reader is needed to read the codes on the card and identify the card holder by the codes and comparing the data storedon the computer.

A web-cam is used for viewing a cardholder and to facilitate the comparison manually with his / her stored Photograph . cardreader also sends signals to a system for gate operation i.e. confirmation or rejection signals to open or close the gate for a cardholder.
