 Key Ingredients:

Biscuit Root (Lomatium) – Also known as wild prairie parsley, it

has been used traditionally by American Indians as medicine for

pneumonia, respiratory relief, and respiratory infections. Other

herbalists have also used Lomatium for chronic fatigue, HIV, and

as a douche for Candida and other vaginal infections.

Lemon Balm (Melissa ofcinalis) – Traditionally used topically

for cold sores, herpes sores, mumps, and bug bites. It has also

been shown to be helpful for indigestion, stomach disease, gas-

tric spasms, insomnia, nervousness, nerve pain, and heart dis-

ease.

Purple Coneower  (Echinacea angustifolia leaf) – Traditional

therapeutic uses for topical application of Echinacea include the

treatment of wounds, inamed skin conditions, and bacterial in -

fections.

Goldenseal  (Hydrastis canadensis) – Goldenseal has been

shown to contain the phyotochemicals berberine and hydrastine.

These components give Goldenseal an antimicrobial effect that

is antibiotic, antiseptic, antifungal, antiparasitic, and antiviral.

       T      o      p       i      c      a        l      s

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) – Folklore suggests that Myrrh has

antibacterial properties, but it has mostly been used for abra-

sions, athlete’s foot, canker sores, dermatitis, scaly skin condi-

tions, gingivitis, asthma, and bronchial disease.

Propolis – Bee propolis is a brownish resinous substance col-

lected by bees to seal their hives and because of its antimicro-

bial properties, it keeps hives free of germs. There is evidence

that propolis has some broad antimicrobial activity and that it

may have anti-inammatory effects that could make it useful in

the treatment of some forms of arthritis.

Comfrey (Symphytum ofcinale) – The name comfrey is derived

from a Latin word meaning “grow together” and “heal.” It has

been used traditionally for bruises, joint sprains, to speed wound

healing, and to encourage new skin and cell growth.

Other Ingredients: Olive Oil, Beeswax, Stearyl Alcohol, Sweet Al-

mond Oil.
