I went to visit Heaven in a dream one night

The great heavens opened and a cloud sailed in sight

The angels hovered oer me and took me by the hand

And on that white cloud we sailed to visit Heavens land

I walked beside a wall so great and so high

There were twelve gates of pearl all swinging open wide

As I stepped inside the city and gazed beyond that peaceful streamThere were ten thousand angels gathering to sing

They stepped out on the balcony of Heaven

Dressed in robes as white as the snow

Then the angels sang their song to the King upon His throne

What a glorious sight to behold

Verse 4

It all seemed so real though I was dreamingBut it all shall come true some day

We will stand around the throne and help the angels sing their song

Then it wont be just a visit well be home to stay
