A little Geography• Cserkeszőlő is a village in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok
county, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary. It has a population of 2231 people and it’s famous for its thermal spa.
History• Cserkeszőlő is one of the youngest villages in the country. It
has been an independent village since 1 January 1952. It was an outer part of the village Tiszakürt.
Thermal Water• Cserkeszőlő’s main attraction is the medicinal
thermal baths.
• In 1938, the Hungarian-American Oil Company Research found the future fame of Cserke ,the 93 ºC thermal water, which comes from more than 2000 meters deep.
The Spa• The bath building was started in 1955.
• We have got a Winter Spa and an Open-air Spa.
• In the Open-air Spa there are nine pools. There are four thermal water pools, a swimming pool, a baby pool, a wave pool, training pool and a fun pool.
• And a very long slide.

The School• In this school there are 300 children and 29
teachers. Pupils from five villages come here to learn.
