My uncle Konstantin Voronin-the champion in the Nordic Combined

Hello! My name is Dasha.I’m 9. I’m in year 3. I live in Moscow.

I’ve got a large sports family.But I’d like to tell you about my uncle Konstantin Voronin .

Konstantin Voronin is a Russian sportsman,

the master of sports in the Nordic Combined.He was born on November 11, 1983, in Moscow.

Nordic Combined is a very difficult and dangerous sport because it consists of ski jumping and cross-country skiing.

My uncle Konstantin Voronin became interested in the Nordic Combined at the age of seven.

So my grandfather sent him to a sports school.

Soon the Nordic Combined was the most important thing in his life.

He became the champion of the Russian Federation

in the Nordic Combined a lot of time. He has over 200 medals .

The major success in the career of my uncle Konstantin Voronin became the gold and bronze medals of

the 2011 Winter Universiade in Erzurum, Turkey.

I am proud of my uncle.

He motivates and inspires our family to keep fit and to stay healthy.

I want to follow in his steps and win the Olympic Games in the Cross Country Skiing .
