angel (Arabic, al-malk al-ris), was a brilliant luminary inthe South Asian Bhaki-f movement. He was the founderof al-Qdiryah al-Sarwar.

Guhar h (Gohar Shahi), the founder of al-Qdiryah al-Muntah and Dn-i Ilh, was born on November 25, 1941. He

may have died in either 2001 or 2003 (or he may still bealive). I believe that, through arat Suln Bhsintercession, he served as my personal gate to Bh.

Gur Nnak (1469-1539), the founder of Sikhism in theBhaki-f movement, was the individual to whom I wasmost closely attracted before becoming a Bah. I had a

strong desire to become a Sikh, but the requirements(wearing a sword and other accoutrements) put a damper onmy enthusiasm. Around the same time, due to amiscommunication with the headquarters of Paul Twitchellsneo-Sikh Eckankar (an Americanized form ofrat bda

Yoga), I was unsuccessful in becoming a member of thatorganization. In later years, however, I was initiated intothree otherrat bda Yoga groups. Some insight into thespiritual stature of Gur Nnak was provided in a letterbythe National Spiritual Assembly (NSA) of the Bahs of India,dated July 7, 1986, to the State Bah Council of Punjb.

That NSA received a letter from the Universal House ofJustice, dated October 27, 1985. According to the House ofJustice, Gur Nnak was endowed with a saintly character.Moreover, he was inspired to reconcile the religions ofHinduism and Islam, the followers of which religions hadbeen in violent conflict. Therefore, the House of Justicefurther explained, Bahs view Gur Nnak as a saint ofthe highest order. In my opinion, the Universal House ofJustice, in praising Gur Nnak, has blessed him.

in Hillsborough, FL, in 1987, told me that she met Abdul-Bah at least 19 times in 1912 (early photo), and that Healways spoke to her in English. Abdul-Bah, she explainedto me, gave Rouhieh rock candy which, He said, would giveher laughter. As she noted, she always giggled.
