Make your very own C lay Mary StatueN ow you can create your own statue of M ary to put in your room!(You 'll ne ed h elp for th is.)

Ingredients:

measunng cups

mea sunng spoonswaxed pape r

saucepan

1 cup all purpose flour

112cup sa lt

~ 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 ta ble spoon cooking o il

1 cup of water

2 table spoons o f g litte r

a few drops of blue food coloring

1. MIX dry ingredients in a m edium size saucepan, then add the oil and w ater2.ADD food coloring slow ly to get the shade of blue you w ant, stirring con-stantly over low heat until your m ixture becom es a ball in your saucepan.

3.REMOVE from the pan (be careful, it's hot!) and place on a large sheet ow axed paper. K nead in the glitter. Work and shape your clay into a statue of Mary. Y

can use a toothpick to trace a head, eyes and m outh on your statue.
