My name is Paul Revere and this is a story about my life. It all started in December 1734; the year I was born. I worked hard as a silversmith when I was a child with one of my brothers. I was bored so, I went to briefly fight in the French and Indian War, but I came back to assume control of the silver shop from my mother. My skillful work ed rapidly gained attention in Boston, including Joseph Warrens who would later play and important role in the Midnight Ride. On August 1757 I married Sarah Ornewho bore me 6 children. I made political engravings so I advertised as a dentist so I could get more money that way. Sarah died in 1773, so I remarried to Rachel Walker in the same year, which I had 5 children with. As I became more involved with the Sons of Liberty I served as a messenger for the Boston Committee of Public Safety. My son, Paul Revere Jr, had taken over the silver business and I was involved with the Sons of Liberty more than ever as the Revolution was starting. One of the most famous things I was probably remembered for was the Midnight Ride. It occurred between the night of April 18 and the morning of April 19, 1775 when Joseph Warren instructed both William Dawes and me to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams that the British were coming to arrest them and steal the weapons in Concord. I had told Newton, the sexton of the Old North Church to signal with a lantern to warn colonists about the British movement when they had become known. This was done in case if both Dawes andIwere captured. On my way I t old other Patriots that th e British were coming. To my surprise most of them set out to deliver warnings themselves. I did not shout the famous phrase The British were coming!, because the mission had to be secret and there were British everywhere. I had arrived in Lexington around midnight, and Dawes arrived 30 minutes later. We met up with Samuel Prescott around 1 a.m. who was supposedly returning from a ladys friend house. The three of us we headed back to Concord, but the British captured us at a roadblock in Lincoln. Prescott jumped his horse over a wall and got away.Dawes also escaped, and I was all alone with the British. They grabbed my and tied my hands together, while questioning what I was doing. I lied to them about my purpose of being there so they pushed me with a gun all the way back to Lexington. As morning came they heard gun shots, so took

My name is Paul Revere and this is a story about my life. It all started in

December 1734; the year I was born. I worked hard as a silversmith when I was a

child with one of my brothers. I was bored so, I went to briefly fight in the French

and Indian War, but I came back to assume control of the silver shop from my

mother. My skillful worked rapidly gained attention in Boston, including Joseph

Warrens who would later play and important role in the Midnight Ride. On

August 1757 I married Sarah Ornewho bore me 6 children. I made political

engravings so I advertised as a dentist so I could get more money that way. Sarah

died in 1773, so I remarried to Rachel Walker in the same year, which I had 5

children with. As I became more involved with the Sons of Liberty I served as a

messenger for the Boston Committee of Public Safety. My son, Paul Revere Jr, had

taken over the silver business and I was involved with the Sons of Liberty more

than ever as the Revolution was starting.

One of the most famous things I was probably remembered for was the

Midnight Ride. It occurred between the night of April 18 and the morning of

April 19, 1775 when Joseph Warren instructed both William Dawes and me to

movement when they had become known. This was done in case if both Dawes

To my surprise most of them set out to deliver warnings themselves. I did not

shout the famous phrase The British were coming!, because the mission had to

be secret and there were British everywhere. I had arrived in Lexington around

midnight, and Dawes arrived 30 minutes later.
