Identify a Problem/Opportunity

Schools are notorious for serving unappetizing lunches. From bruised fruit to half-frozen sandwiches, we need a revolution. Policies regarding school lunches result in hungry kids and a garbage full of produce. Attempts to disguise healthy choices like allowing fruits to be sugar coated raisins or banana pudding send the wrong message. This is a critical time for kids to establish eating habits for life.

Pick a Solution

The solution does not rest in schools, but in my business, My Lunch. Parents and students can pre-order delicious, wholesome lunches from the My Lunch App and select a nutritious meal with quality fruits and vegetables. Then they can conveniently pick it up at their schools for a relatively low price.

Define the Customer

I have two target markets for My Lunch: the moms and the kids. Moms are constantly concerned about their child having a great future and will love the affordability, convenience, and quality food their child will receive each day.

This will impact local farmers and artisans because we will partner with them and use their fresh products. Initially, I would expect My Lunch to impact 10-25% of a school population, but those numbers would increase as kids see their peers with my iconic green bags.
