THIS IS YOUR LIFE.

Page 5: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

THIS IS YOUR LIFE.

Born on the 6th of June

Under the midnight blue sky of a Florida moon.

This is the place I like to call home,

The sun, the sand, the surf, and the seafoam.

Page 6: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

DO WHAT YOU LOVE,AND DO IT OFTEN.

Page 7: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

Sweet melodies on my violin I play,

Practicing etudes and arpeggios - night and day.

Nothing I love more than jammin’ on my fiddle.

The music it creates, tugs on my heart strings a little.

Page 8: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

IF YOU DON’T LIKE SOMETHING,CHANGE IT.

Page 9: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

Goodness! How much waste we produce on this earth.

We live on this planet, but do we truly value its worth?

An individual creates 4.5 pounds of trash each day,

We must put a stop to this; there must be some other way.

Page 10: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB, QUIT.

Page 11: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

For years, I thought an architect I’d be,

Until its unhealthy lifestyle got the best of me.

At Holstee, I’d get the chance to be a part of something greater,

I tell myself, “Life is short. I can be an architect later.”

Page 12: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

IF YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME,STOP WATCHING TV.

Page 13: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

The things you gain, when you’ve got more time on your hands,

Off to an adventure, explore new lands.

Free to learn another language or pick up a new skill,

Walk outside, breathe fresh air, and experience life’s thrills.

Page 14: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE ONE YOULOVE, STOP; THEY WILL BE WAITING FOR

YOU WHEN YOU START DOING THINGSYOU LOVE.

Page 15: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

No need to search for the love of your life,

A continuous pursuit, ending in romantic strife.

No longer seeking the company of another,

When you’re doing the things you love, you’ll find each other.

Page 16: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

STOP OVER ANALYZING, LIFE IS SIMPLE.

Page 17: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

Don’t stress, don’t whine, don’t think too much.

Life should be easy, so treat it as such.

When doubts and fears invade your thoughts,

Remember, life is simple - just give it a shot.

ALL EMOTIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL.

Page 19: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

February 2008 brought forth a difficult day,

It came as a surprise. What do I do? What do I say?

Remembering all our good times and crying to no end,

I had to say goodbye to my most loyal friend.

Page 20: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

WHEN YOU EAT, APPRECIATEEVERY LAST BITE.

Page 21: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

For parties, celebrations, and special birthday wishes,

I always look forward to this among all the dishes.

With each bite, my taste buds rejoice nonstop.

Nothing can beat my mom’s beef stroganoff!

Page 22: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

OPEN YOUR MIND, ARMS, AND HEARTTO NEW PEOPLE. WE ARE UNITED IN

OUR DIFFERENCES.

Page 23: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

In 2011, I lived in Beijing,

To study this family, their house, and their things.

Though they live in the Far East, and I’m from the West,

We are the same; we eat-sleep-breathe and love like the rest.

ASK THE NEXT PERSON YOU SEE WHATTHEIR PASSION IS, AND SHARE YOUR

INSPIRING DREAM WITH THEM.

Page 25: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

Stop a group of people, and ask this question real quick,

“What makes your heart flutter? What makes you tick?”

Return their answer, with a dream of your own,

“I love doing what I do. And when I do it, I’m in the zone!”

Page 26: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

TRAVEL OFTEN; GETTING LOST WILLHELP YOU FIND YOURSELF.

Page 27: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

In Hong Kong, I ventured up to the highest peak.

So close to the sky, it made my knees weak.

That summer, I went on this journey independent and alone,

To get to know myself, and see what I could do on my own.

Page 28: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

SOME OPPORTUNITIES ONLY COMEONCE, SEIZE THEM.

Page 29: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

2012 marked a huge milestone,

As Tulane’s motto says, “Not for one’s self, but for one’s own.”

New Orleans, you crazy city, I’ll never forget you,

How much I’ve learned and grown here; all the memories, too.

Page 30: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

LIFE IS ABOUT THE PEOPLE YOU MEET,AND THE THINGS YOU CREATE WITH THEM

SO GO OUT AND START CREATING.

Page 31: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

We shake hands, we smile, we listen, and we speak,

The company of others we gladly do seek.

Collaborating on this life journey we embark,

It is love, creativity, human nature, and art.

Page 32: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

LIFE IS SHORT.

Page 33: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

Seconds, minutes, hours - how quickly they pass by.

Days, weeks, months - gone in the blink of an eye.

All of life’s little moments, we must learn to treasure.

So at the end of this long road, you can say, “It was a pleasure.”

Page 34: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

LIVE YOUR DREAM AND SHARE YOUR PASSION.

Page 35: My Life: As Told Through the Holstee Manifesto

So Holstee crew, I’d love to join your growing family of 8,

We’d sing, dance, cook, and get along great!

Somewhere in there, we’d get some work done too,

Let me to live my dream and share my passion with you!
