Hello.. My name is Sarah Stoličná. I live in small town Levoča (in Slovakia). I am fourteen years old and I study at elementary school on Francisciho street. I am in class 8.B. You've got some informations about me now, so I would like to show you a presentation about my school. Have a good time!..

The Slovak Republic is landlocked state in Cental Europe. About 5 412 008 people live there.

Levoča - is a town in a Prešov Region (northeast of Slovakia) with a population 14 533. - is a one of the most beautiful historical towns in Slovakia

O Teachers have taught in this school since 5th April 1982.

O School is located in housing estate West.

O School was projected with 22 classrooms = for 660 pupils.

O School hasn't got own gym but we're going practise to the sports hall next to the school.

After-school careAfter-school care - children spend their afternoon time with friends and educators - they do their homeworks, they play some games, they go out, etc.In school year 2013/2014 – 100 children visit after-school care

Our school has got 44 teachers together.

Thereof: - 1 director -2 Representatives school director -27 class teachers - 8 teachers - 1 educational consultant - 1 special education teacher -4 educators

After school bandsTeachers have their own after school bands every year. Pupils can register there. Then they learn English language, Slovak language, German lenguage, Math or they sing,dance, play scene from theather or play some sports games like basketball, football..etc..

CompetitionsIn our school are always some competitions. For children are competitions like: Kite competition or apple running, etc.

CompetitionsFor bigger pupils are competitions like:Botanical competition or “Dilongstar“ = singing competition

TripsAfter hard work in the school we need some relax. Our school organized trips and school in nature.

Folk Ensemble „Venček“

Teachers of our school created Folk Ensemble „Venček“. Especially children sing and dance there.

School academyPupils from our school act on school academy which is prepared every season in the town cinema. Small and big pupils act there with scenes,songs and many others things.
