INTRODUCTION.

I made these compositions throughout the school year, where

I wrote on many subjects. I made five compositions.

My first composition described a person. On my second

composition talk about my favorite restaurant and what they

serve there and it was really fun.

I invite you to read all the compositions and discover the other

issues.

I hope you enjoy reading.

LEARNING REFLECTION.

These compositions have helped me to improve my English

as it is not used to this type of activities. I helped in the

grammar, but mostly improve my vocabulary.

Individual & Society. Description of a person.

Name: Mr. Thompson Eagle.

Position: Architect.

Mr. Thompson works on the construction of skyscrapers. He

likes being in the altitudes. In his spare time he studies

French. One of his hobbies is to make building models; also

one of his dreams is to make a replica of the Eiffel tower. As a

kid he had many animals, especially a rabbit that he loved

very much.

He met his girlfriend in the summer school.

Eating & Drinking. My favorite restaurant.

My favorite restaurants.

One of my favorite restaurants is the 420; it serves the best

meat cuts. To begin they give you a toast of melted cheese,

my favorite drink is of red fruits, it is delicious.

The best part comes with the entrée the meat cut with fresh

salad, my favorite dessert is cheesecake with berries. It’s

great, I recommend it.

My Favorite book.

My favorite book is “The other countess” by Eve Edwards.

The story takes place in England around 1500. The main

character is Ellie. She is a teenager, daughter of a very

important scientist but is hated by Lacey family.

She falls in love, with the wrong man because he is the king.

They face many difficult situations, but at the end against all

circumstances they fight for being together. It’s a romantic

story where adventure is all around.

Dear, Nathan.

I’ve heard that you want to come to Mexico, next month.

My mom told me that your plane arrives at 10am, but my

dad´s car is not working, so I’ll have to go by taxi and I’ll

probably arrive a little late. But I promise I'll arrive.

See you near the candy store to save time; I need your cell

phone, to call you if I am late or have any problems.

Hello, Diana.

My lovely friend, I hope you're fine. There’s no problem if

you’re late when you pick me up. So… you told me that you’ll

meet me near the candy store, didn’t you? So if you agreed

with that, it’s okay.

You asked me for my cell phone number, right? So I’m gonna

I will be waiting up for you that day! I have been missing you

as well): But we can have a great time once I turn up in

Mexico City.

Dear, Mr. George Ellis.

I saw the advertisement, and I love sports, it’s just what I was

looking for the summer, I would love to participate. My

Spanish is very good, I have no problem. My English is very

fluid, but my French is a bit poor. I speak Italian very well, I

hope don’t have problems with that.

I am nineteen years old. Last summer, I worked at the

aquarium in San Francisco, I like to meet people. I’m good at

speaking in public.
