ANESTHESIOLOGIST ASSISTANT
These professionals provide very important assistance to the anesthesiologist in accompanying the patient before, during and after anesthesia to ensure quality and continuity of care before and after surgery. The work of an anesthesiologist assistant (AA) directly contributes to the success of surgical operations by ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of the patient.

My Reaction- No matter where you go, there will always be people in need for skilled personnel to deliver anesthesia and monitor them while a doctor performs a surgery. It is also nice to have options where you work, for many anesthesiologist have the choice to work in hospitals, dentist offices and can specialize in almost any medical environment they wish.

• My Reaction- To major in physiology would definably be a great option because I am very interested in how people act the way they do. There are so many things that the brain hides in such a small portion of the body and to decode that would be very fascinating to me.
