• Identify how one can contribute to improve the environment.

The Project • Students will determine their carbon footprints by completing a questionnaire about everyday lifestyle choices.

•Develop a plan to reduce the negative impact (carbon footprint) one can have on the environment.

Domains Research (4): Project has a complete report. The report

includes cover, purpose, introduction, data table (carbon footprint), changes in lifestyle (at least three) and questionnaire(s).

Accuracy (4): Students demonstrate knowledge about carbon footprint by explaining ways to reduce it and their impact (at least three).

Creativity (4): Presentation is unique, well designed and attractive.

Grammar (4): Correct spelling and punctuation is used in the report.

Presentation (4): All members participate during the presentation and demonstrate knowledge about carbon footprint, its impact on the environment and how to reduce it.
