The United States officially recognized the People’s Republic of China in 1978

This was done to help build a relationship with the Soviets and also to develop a trade relationship with China

the Holocaust, was given a death sentence by an Israeli war crimes tribunal in 1961.

carrying him and some other passengers disappeared in fog over the English Channel while traveling to Paris

It is not known what happened to the plane or its passengers
