Chosen Apartment

Where: New york City, Lower East SideRent: $3,795 Amenities: • Fully furnished•  l Baths•  lounge• private terrace•  recently renovated

with marble (bath and counter)

•  Loft• Pets ok• Elevator

 

Financing

• A decent amount of my income will go to affording this apartment. (assuming I am out of college and have a job)

• however, this is not a major issue to me becasue I do not plan to rent for a long time, and it is not an insane amount of money, especially for New York City. 

• Rent + utilities will most likely cost around $5,000 per month

Furnishing the Apartment

• I Specifically searched for apartments which were already furnished to avoid the cost of buying everything needed to furnish an apartment.

• Although it may make the apartment more expensive, I am not above paying for convenience.

• *The photos were taken before the furniture was placed in the apartment

Living situation

• While having help with rent would be nice, this aparmtent only has one bedroom, so unless I had a significant other living with me, I could not have a "roommate"

Fulfilling My Obligations as a Tenant

• I will not have any excessive social events held in my apartment in order to prevent major damage.

• I will clean the apartment at least once per week• The apartment is furnished for me, so I will not have to worry

about any issues that may arise with putting things in the apartment

• I may want to paint but will recieve permission first• Whether pets are allowed or not  I will not have one because of the

extra risk of me not owning the space they will be occupying and not knowing if I will have enough time to properly take care of it.
