� Fire extinguishers which use water as the extinguishing agent are the ideal equipment for fi ghting Class A incipient fi res.

� The extinguishing effect is based on the heat-binding property of water. The cooling effect of the water destroys the conditions required for the thermal reaction. This prevents any further conver-sion of combustible material and cuts off the supply of combustible gases and vapours.

� There is also a smothering effect caused by the rapid evaporation of the very fi ne droplets of spray mist.

Press down trigger lever and release it. Aim the nozzle at the base of fi re and press down the trigger lever.

� The place of employment regulation (like ASR 13/1 and 2, point 6.1) recommends to provide fi re extin-guishers with the same operating armature in a company to avoid operating mistakes. Minimax has fi re extinguishers for all areas of use and all fi re classes, all fi tted with a standard single-lever operation, thus offering a special degree of safety.

�When the safety catch has been pulled out the extinguisher is ready to use. Pressing on the pressure lever drops the spindle down onto the screw plug in the propellant gas container, breaking it open. The propellant gas pours into the container holding the extinguishing agent, forces the water through the riser and out through the spray nozzle. The Minimax fi ne spray technology distributes the water in the form of a fi ne spray. This greatly increases the sur-face area of the extinguishing water.

�Releasing the pressure lever interrupts the fl ow of extinguishing agent. Use repeated activation of the pressure lever to bring under control fi res involving solid materials.

� Fire extinguishers must be checked, maintained an repaired in regular intervals by an authorised expert (in Germany according to DIN 14406, Part 4).

� When they have been used to extinguish a fi re, fi re extinguishers must be refi lled immediately (even when they are only partly empty) in order to bring them fully back to operational readiness.

� Your Minimax Service can carry out all checking and fi lling work.

� Suitable up to 1000 volts at 1 m minimum distance.
