'A journey of success begins with a single step'
Introduction
“Rolling stone gathers no moss”. This proverb
highlights the importance of moving ahead.
Moving ahead is the law of nature. Stagnance
paves way for culmination. Undoubtedly, our
young MVNites have treaded along and have
shown remarkable progress. The right paradigm
of progress is when we analyse ourselves not with
the outer world but with our inner self. As
parents, you would be satisfied that your child is
venturing into a new world.
Completion of TERM I, brings us to the mid of the
academic session 2018-19. Now is time we should
set fresh goals to be accomplished in the second
part of the academic year. Let us move ahead with
a positive vision and positive outlook and pave
enabling path for our young learners which would
encourage them to reach for the stars.
Activities
MATHS QUIZ (FINAL ROUND)
In order to insll compeve spirit among the children, a math quiz was organized with zeal and enthusiasm. The winners were awarded the cerficates of merit.

Children of class II played with the clay in their clay modelling acvity. It also improves fine motor skills. The children enjoyed the acvity a lot.
“ I believe that the school must represent life – life as real and vital to the child as that which he carries home , in the neighbourhood or on the playground .”
WE DO...WE LEARN...
The moo of MVN School is that learning should be relevant and praccal , not just passive and theorecal. So keeping this in mind, the teachers at MVN present real life problems to the students and then guide them to solve the same by providing them with a hands – on acvity to find the soluon .

Overuse Of Gadgets
From the Principal's Desk…
Apart from the physical hazards it poses, there is a major
threat that it weakens and damages the parent child
relationships. Sitting in the confines of our homes also we
are not connected to our children. The quality time which our
parents once spent with us is now the missing link between
our children and us. We all shall be blamed to be a generation
who opened the Pandora Box by overusing gadgets. So, dear
parents, it is the time to wage a war with ourselves. Let's all
take pledge to use these gadgets in a safe limit. Let them be
our tools not our weapons of self destruction. Let us be the
torch bearers and show our children the way. Let us be more
interactive and nurture the right relationship and help them
grow with values which will serve as foundation for a sound
life ahead.
Come, let us bear in mind that if we want a relationship that
looks and feels like the most amazing thing on earth, we need
to treat it like the most amazing thing on earth.
As parents, don't forget to be role models for your children
and let them emulate you.
HAPPY PARENTING TO ALL
We are living in the digital age. It's a reality.
It's a tool that is necessary. Its when our kids
can't get off their gadgets and screen use
becomes excessive that these tools become a
problem and can be potentially damaging.
One thing we would like to share with you all is that let us groom our children in this
way that they are able to bear the challenges in life. Life is not a smooth sailing
sea…Let us equip our children to have various skills and help them in life. A short
inspirational story listed below must be shared with the children to teach them the
ways of life.
In the middle of a beautiful city, there was a museum laid with beautiful marble
tiles and with a huge marble statue as a part of the display. Many people from all
over the world visited the museum every day and admired the beautifully crafted
statue. One night, the marble tiles started talking to the marble statue.
CONCLUSION
Marble Statue: Yes you are right my brother. But, do you still remember the day
when the sculptor tried to work on you but you resisted his tools.
Marble Tiles: Yes, I despise that guy. How could he use those nasty tools on me.
Marble Statue: Well, Since you resisted his tools he couldn't work on you. When he
decided to give up on you, he started working on me instead. I knew at once that i
would be something different and unique after his efforts. I bore all the painful
tools he used on me and allowed him craft me as he wanted!
Marble Tiles: But those tools were so painful.
Marble Statue: My brother, there is a price for everything in life. Since, you
decided to resist and gave up half way, you can't blame anybody who steps on you
now.!
The marble tiles silently listened to his brothers words. and started to reflect
on it.
The most beautiful
people we have known
are those who have
known defeat, known
suffering, known
struggle, known loss,
and have found their
way out of those depths.
Moral: The harder the knocks you go through in life, the more you learn and put
them to use in the future! Do not be discouraged by setbacks and failures! Keep
trying to be better.
