Muslims who believe in Quran, enough with the Double Standards

because its either you believe in part of the Quran or you reject it all.

Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of

your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if

they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden

to you.afatu'minna(SO DO YOU BELIEVE) bibai (IN PART)kitbi(OF THE

BOOK)watakfurna(AND DISEBELIEVE) bibain (IN PART)? Then what is the

recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on

the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah

is not unaware of what you do. Sura 2/85

Muslims who believe Quran those who alleged and say that the Tawrah, Injil or hence

the Bible has plagiarize the Hadith have not read the Tawrah, Injil or the Quran

carefully. Muslims who are practicing double standards need to stop.

Remember, the Tawrah, Injil, Zabur (Psalms) and other Hebrew Books of the Prophets

were here before the Hadith and the Quran. If we truly investigate for plagiarism then

those who have been reading the previous Scriptures prior to the Quran can accuse the

Quran of plagiarism. Much of what we find in the Quran is not unique within itself.

We find similar events that has been narrated in Quran was narrated in the Tawrah,

    Injil or Bible.

Allah says about the Quran and addresses Ahlul Kitab:

"O Ahlul Kitab, surely there has come to you our Messenger, making clear to you much

of what you used to Tukh'funa (CONCEAL) of the scripture wa-ya'fu an kathiran

(AND OVERLOOKING / FORGIVING MUCH). Surely has come to you from Allah a

light and a clear book" Sura 5/15

The Arabic word 'Tukh'funa' comes from the root KHA-FA-YA which carries the

meaning of what is unapparent / has become imperceptible / has become dim to the

sight / or suppressed, or obscured to the mind. It also carries the meaning of something

    which has become 'concealed'.

Therefore the Quran within context of its Arabic usage clearly recognizes that certain

aspects of the previous scriptures have become gradually concealed and deems it fit to

    3/21

    3 | P a g e

expound on some of them. It is also not the intention of the Quran to deal with each and

every narrative of the previous scriptures hence the term 'wa-yafu an kathiran'

    (forgive, pardon, pass over, relinquish.

I do not believe in a 'massive cutting and removing' implying a wholesale corruption of

the Hebrew Scriptures. The Quran also confirms the Tawrah and Injil that was

coexistent with the revelation given to the Prophet.

"To thee We revealed the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that is between the

hands wa-muhayminan (AND GUARDING IT BY DETERMINING WHAT IS TRUE

AND FALSE): so judge between them by what Allah has revealed..." Sura 5/48

The Muslims are not suppose to be in doubt about the previous Scriptures:

"And certainly We gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt liqaihi

(ENCOUNTERING IT) and We made it a guide for the Children of Israel" Sura 32/23

Hence, we have the Arabic word 'liqai' (the 'hi' simply being a pronoun) comes from

the root word 'Lam-Qaf-Ya' which means:

    1) to encounter

    2) meet

    3) see

    4) come across

    5) or see face to face

Therefore, the Torah was a COEXISTENT reality that Prophet Muhammad was faced

with. He was instructed not to DOUBT IT as it was a scripture that was given to

Prophet Moses from Allah to guide the Children of Israel.

Allah clarifies about a matter had there been any doubt about the revelation sent down

to the Prophet Muhammad, Allah instructs the Prophet to confirm it with those who

have been studying the Scripture before him.

Allah tells the Muslims in general if we have any questions, any doubts

about the Quran then the Muslims are supposed to ask the Children of

    Israel, the Scholars:

"If you are in doubt regarding what We have sent down to you, then ASK THOSE

WHO HAVE BEEN READING THE SCRIPTURE BEFORE YOU. The truth has come

to you from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt." Sura 10/94

So if you are in doubt, about that which We have revealed to you, THEN ASK

THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN READING THE BOOK BEFORE YOU. The truth has

certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. Sura 10/94

ASK THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL how many Clear Signs We gave them! And whena people tamper with Allahs bounty after it has been bestowed on them then indeed

Allah is severe in punishment. Sura 2/211

We granted Musa nine clear signs. ASK THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL about that:

when these signs came forth, Pharaoh said to him: Musa, I think that you are

    bewitched. Sura 17/101

So if you are in doubt, about that which We have revealed to you, THEN ASK THOSE

WHO HAVE BEEN READING THE BOOK BEFORE YOU. The truth has certainlycome to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. Sura 10/94

"Behold, We turned towards you a company of Jinn listening to the Qur'an ... When the

(reading) was finished they returned to their people as warners. They said, O our

people! we have heard a Book REVEALED AFTER MOSES attesting to (the truth of)

thatWHICH IS BETWEEN HIS (ITS) HANDS - guiding to the truth and to a straight

    path." Sura 46:29-30

"The (Qur'an) is indeed a message for you and your people, (all of) you shall be brought

to account, and ASK thosearsaln(We sent) min qablika (before you), 'Did Weappoint any deities other than the Most Merciful whom they should worship?'" Sura

    43:44-45

To break it down further, in Sura 15:9-10 is basically saying that Allah will protect the

His Scriptures from corruption. The following ayats further substantiates this what I

    surmise:

"And indeed it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds - brought down by the

trustworthy spirit upon your heart, so that you be one of the warners [revealed] in a

clear Arabic dialect - and indeed it is Fi (IN) Zubur (THE SCRIPTURES) of old. "Is it

not a Sign to them that ulamu ( THE LEARNED / SCHOLARS) of the CHILDREN

OF ISRAEL knew it (as true)?" Sura 26:192-197

This is a basic comparison of what is in some of the previous Scriptures

that are in the hands of Ahlul Kitab.

INTERESTING there is something similar to this in "Vita Adae et Evae", an apocryphal

text which most scholars agree was written somewhere near the end of the 10th century

    AD.

XIII: The devil replied, 'Adam, what dost thou tell me? It is for thy sake that I have beenhurled from that place. When thou wast formed, I was hurled out of the presence of

Elohim and banished from the company of the ANGELS. When Elohim blew into thee

the breath of life and thy face and likeness was made in the image of Elohim, Michael

also brought thee and made (us) worship thee in the sight of Elohim; and Elohim

Yahweh spake: Here is Adam. I have made thee in our image and likeness.'

Saw-tawn believe Adam was inferior to himself:

XIV: And Michael went out and called all the ANGELS saying: 'Worship the image of

    Elohim as Yahweh Elohim hath commanded.' And Michael himself worshipped first;

then he called me and said: 'Worship the image of Elohim Yahweh.' And I answered, 'I

have no (need) to worship Adam.' And since Michael kept urging me to worship, I said

to him, 'Why dost thou urge me? I will not worship an INFERIOR and younger being.

I am his senior in the Creation, before he was made was I already made. It is his duty

    to worship me.'

And when your Lord said to the angels, "I khliqun(WILL CREATE) basharan (A

HUMAN) minallinminama-inmasnnin(OUT OF CLAY FROM BLACK MUD

ALTERED). And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created]

soul, then fall down to him in prostration. So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,

Save Iblis. He refused to be among the prostrate. He said: O Iblis! What prevents you

that you are not among the prostrate? He said, "Never would I prostrate libasharin

(TO A HUMAN) khalaqtahu (WHOM YOU CREATED) minallinama-in

masnnin(OUT OF CLAY FROM BLACK MUD ALTERED). [Allah] said, "Then get

out of it, for indeed, you are expelled. Sura 15/28-34

There were other Angels with Saw-tan who refused to worship/prostrate

    to Adam:

XV:When the ANGELS who were under me heard this, they refused to worship him.

And Michael saith, 'Worship the image of Elohim, but if thou wilt not worship him,

Yahweh Elohim will be wroth with thee.' And I said, 'If He be wroth with me, I will set

my seat above the stars of heaven and will be like the Highest.' Anon. Vita Adae et

    Evae, 1315.

In Legends of the Jews in Ginzberg I:63 regarding extra canonical traditions of the

Hebrew Scriptures, that PRECED THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD BY SEVERAL

CENTURIES, it is reported that Saw-tawn - the greatest of the ANGELS with twelve

wings instead of the usual six REFUSED TO BOW DOWN TO ADAM when Elohim

instructed him to do so because of his envy.

The Quran confirms that Iblis (an Angel) wasnt the only one who was

    proud and became a disbeliever:

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.".

And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused wa-is'takbara (AND WAS PROUD)

wakna (AND HE BECAME) one of the disbelievers. Sura 2/34

Again, Iblis became one of the disbelievers which indicate he was not alone in his

    rebellion.

So we have clearly Allah saying:

"Iblisa lam yakun mina sjidna (Iblis WAS NOT AMONG THOSE WHO

    PROSTRATED)"

    ADAM--MAN AND THE WORLD

With ten Sayings Yahweh created the world, although a single Saying would have

sufficed. Yahweh desired to make known how severe is the punishment to be meted out

to the wicked, who destroy a world created with as many as ten Sayings, and how

goodly the reward destined for the righteous, who preserve a world created with as

    many as ten Sayings.

The world was made for man, though he was the last-comer among its creatures. This

was design. He was to find all things ready for him. Yahweh was the host who

prepared dainty dishes, set the table, and then led His guest to his seat. At the sametime man's late appearance on earth is to convey an admonition to humility. Let him

beware of being proud, lest he invite the retort that the gnat is older than he.

The superiority of man to the other creatures is apparent in the very manner of his

creation, altogether different from theirs. HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS

CREATED BY THE HAND OF YAHWEH. The rest sprang from THE WORD OF

    YAHWEH.

The Quran confirms that Adam was created by the Hand of Allah:

[Allah] said, "O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating to that which khalaqtu (I

CREATED) biyadayya (WITH MY HANDS)? Were you arrogant [then], or were you

[already] among the haughty?" Sura 38/75

    THE SOUL OF MAN

The care which Yahweh exercised in fashioning every detail of the body of man is as

naught in comparison with His solicitude for the human soul. The soul of man was

created on the first day, for it is the spirit of Yahweh moving upon the face of thewaters. Thus, instead of being the last, man is really the first work of creation.

This spirit, or, to call it by its usual name, the soul of man, possesses five different

powers. By means of one of them she escapes from the body every night, rises up to

heaven, and fetches new life thence for man.

WITH THE SOUL OF ADAM THE SOULS OF ALL THE GENERATIONS OF MEN

WERE CREATED. They are stored up in a promptuary, in the seventh of the heavens,

whence they are drawn as they are needed for human body after human body.

The Quran confirms with the soul of Adam the souls of all the

    generations of Adam were created:

"When your Lord brought forth offspring from the loins of the Children of Adam and

made them bear witness about themselves, He said, Am I not your Lord? They

replied, We bear witness that You are. This He did, lest you should say on the Day of

Resurrection, We had no knowledge of that. or lest you say, "Verily, it was but our

    forefathers who, in times gone by, began to ascribe divinity to other beings beside God;

and we were but their late offspring: wilt Thou, then, destroy us for the doings of those

inventors of falsehoods? Thus do We explain the signs in detail; and perchance they

may turn (unto Us)." Sura 7/172-175

    Legends of the Jews:

The third creation of the second day was the angel hosts, both the ministering ANGELS

and the ANGELS of praise. The reason they had not been called into being on the first

day was, lest men believe that the ANGELS assisted Yahweh in the creation of the

heavens and the earth.[61] The ANGELS that are fashioned from FIRE have forms of

FIRE, [62] but only so long as they remain in heaven. When they descend to earth, to dothe bidding of Yahweh here below, either they are changed into WIND, or they assume

the FORM OF MEN. [63] There are ten ranks or degrees among the ANGELS.[64]

The Quran says Iblis was created from fire:

"We created you and then formed you and then We said to the ANGELS, "Prostrate

before Adam" and they prostrated except for Iblis. lam yakun mina sjidna (Iblis

WAS NOT AMONG THOSE WHO PROSTRATED). Allah said, "What prevented you

from prostrating when I commanded you?" He (iblis) replied, "I am better than him.

khalaqtan(YOU CREATED ME) min (FROM)nrin(FIRE) and You created him

from clay". Allah said, "Descend from heaven. It is not for you to be arrogant in it. So

get out! You are one of the abased." Surah 7/11-13.

So we have Allah conveying to us that Iblis was not mina (of) ==> those (Angels)

the Shekinah of My glory. But if not, and Adam calls them by the names I have assigned

to them, then thou wilt be subject to Adam, and he shall have a place in My garden, and

cultivate it." Thus spake Yahweh, and He betook Himself to Paradise, Saw-tan

following Him. When Adam beheld Yahweh, he said to his wife, "O come, let us

worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." Now Saw-tanattempted to assign names to the animals. He failed with the first two that presented

themselves, the ox and the cow. Yahweh led two others before him, the camel and the

donkey, with the same result. Then Yahweh turned to Adam, and questioned him

regarding THE NAMES of the same animals, framing His questions in such wise that

the first letter of the first word was the same as the first letter of THE NAME of the

animal standing before him. Thus Adam divined the proper name, and Saw-tan was

forced to acknowledge the superiority of the first man. Nevertheless he broke out in

wild outcries that reached the heavens, and he refused to do homage unto Adam as he

had been bidden. The host of angels led by him did likewise, in spite of the urgentrepresentations of Michael, who was the first to prostrate himself before Adam in order

to show a good example to the other angels. Michael addressed Satan: "Give adoration

to the image of Yahweh! But if thou doest it not, then Yawheh Elohim will break out in

wrath against thee." Satan replied: "If He breaks out in wrath against me, I will exalt my

throne above the stars of Yahweh, I will be like the Most High!" At once Yahweh flung

Satan and his host out of heaven, down to the earth, and from that moment dates the

enmity between Satan and man.' Haggada (volume 1, chapter 2)

Saw-tan was jealous of the first man, and his evil thoughts finally led to his fall. After

Adam had been endowed with a SOUL, Yahweh invited all the ANGELS to come

and pay him reverence and homage.

    The Quran us something similar:

"And (remember) when your Lord said to the ANGELS: "Verily, I am going to place

khalfatan earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein

and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You." He

(Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know." And He taught Adam allTHE

NAMES (of everything) , then He showed them to the ANGELS and said, "Tell Me THE

NAMES of these if you are truthful." They (ANGELS) said: "Glory be to You, we have no

knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-

Wise." He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of

their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (Unseen) in the heavens and

the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing? And [mention]

when We said to the ANGELS, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for

Iblis. He refused and was arrogant kana (AND BECAME) of the disbelievers." Sura 2/30-

In fact, the first thing to note is that, the command who Muslims attributes this to Allah

believing it was in Qur'an that applies to the Children of Israel." It does not apply to

Muslims. Probably, that is why some of our Muslim brothers find a lot of killings of

innocent civilians by extremist Muslims today.

The Quran narrates the story of two sons of Adam:

"Recite to them the truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold! they each

presented a sacrifice: It was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter:

"Be sure I will slay thee." "Surely," said the former, "Allah doth accept of the sacrifice ofthose who are righteous. If thou dost stretch thy hand against me, to slay me, it is not

for me to stretch my hand against thee to slay thee: for I do fear Allah , the cherisher of

the worlds. For me, I intend to let thee draw on thyself my sin as well as thine, for thou

wilt be among the companions of the fire, and that is the reward of those who do

wrong. The (selfish) soul of the other led him to the murder of his brother: he murdered

him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones. Then God sent a raven, who scratched

    the ground, to show him how to hide the shame of his brother. "Woe is me!" said he;

"Was I not even able to be as this raven, and to hide the shame of my brother?" then he

became full of regrets." Sura 5/27-31

The rejection of Cains offering made him jealous and he killed Abel. Now what has this

got to do with Sura 5/32? Only one individual was murdered. There was no

intent/action on part of Cain to commit mass murders.

Secondly, this verse Sura 5/32 said to be ordained for Jews is not found in Tawrah at

all. It is found in TALMUD. Again, this is found in the TALMUD, the TALMUD is like

the HADITH for the us Muslims.

Let us see what Talmud says in Mishnah Sanhedrin:

It reads [Gen. iv. 10]: "The voice of the 'bloods' of thy brother are crying unto me from

the ground." It does not read "blood," but "bloods," which means his blood and the

blood of his descendants. [According to others it reads "bloods" in the plural, because

his blood was scattered all over the trees and stones.] Therefore the man was created

singly, to teach that he who destroys one soul of a human being, the Scripture

considers him as if he should destroy a whole world, and him who saves one soul of

Israel, the Scripture considers him as if he should save a whole world. And also

because of peace among creatures, so that one should not say:

"Because of that, which Cain did, We decreed for the Children of Israel that whoever

slays a soul for other than a soul, slain, or for, other than, corruption, committed, in the

land, in the way of unbelief, fornication or waylaying and the like, it shall be as if he

had slain mankind altogether; and whoever saves the life of one, by refraining from

slaying, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind ." Surah al-Ma'idah, ayah

    32

The Talmud asks why the human race was created as a single human being, as opposed

to creating many people at once (like the animals which were created en masse)

Thus, the versehe who destroys one soul of a human being, the Scripture

considers him as if he should destroy a whole world, and him who saves one soul of

Israel, the Scripture considers him as if he should save a whole worldis not there

    in the Tawrah.

Actually, it was the commentary or interpretation of Jewish scholars/Rabbis of the

Tawrah. The above commentary explains Genesis 4:10 and also the spiritual significance

of the Adam and Eve story. It explains why only one Adam was created and notmultiple of Adams. Some of our Muslim brothers and their Scholars fail to figure out

that this was a commentary on Genesis 4/10 and the significance of the creation of

Adam story, and mistook it to be a revealed text.

Some of our Muslim brothers distorted the teachings of TALMUD to

    this:

In this context, it is worth examining Maulana Maududis comments:

It is a pity that the precious words which embody God's ordinance are to be found

nowhere in the Bible today. The TALMUD, however, does mention this subject

The TALMUD also mentions that in trials for murder, the Israelite judges used to

address the witnesses as follows:Whoever kills one person, merits punishment as if

he had slain all the men in the world.

On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person -

unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew

the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the

whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.

In fact, many Muslims do not quote the full text of Sura 5/32, because it is a badly

messed up and distorted version of the original from the TALMUD, and that quoting

the full verse will cause them embarrassment.

This teaches us that just as Adam was created in the beginning, and he was the entire

human population of the world, likewise we need to look at each individual as if

he/she were the entire population of the world. Therefore, when you save one life it isas if you saved the entire world.

    Talmud, Sanhedrin 37a states:

"FOR THIS REASON WAS MAN CREATED ALONE, TO TEACH THEE THAT

WHOSOEVER DESTROYS A SINGLE SOUL... SCRIPTURE IMPUTES [GUILT] TO

HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD DESTROYED A COMPLETE WORLD; AND

WHOSOEVER PRESERVES A SINGLE SOUL..., SCRIPTURE ASCRIBES [MERIT] TO

HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD PRESERVED A COMPLETE WORLD."

A Prophecy of Isa ibn Maryam foretold in the Gospel of Thomas

For example, in verse 5:110 of the Quran, a narrative is quoted which finds support in

non-canonical Gospels such as the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. This Gospel dates to at

least the 2nd and 3rd century CE.

"...and when you make out of clay the figure of a bird by My leave, then you breath into

it and it becomes a bird by My leave..." Sura 5/110

    THE INFANCY GOSPEL OF THOMAS

    Greek Text B

child ran and told Joseph, saying: Behold, thy child playeth about the brook, and

hath made sparrows of the clay, which is not lawful. 2 And he when he heard it went

and said to the child: Wherefore doest thou so and profaneth the Sabbath? But Jesus

answered him not, but looked upon the sparrows and said: Go ye, take your flight,

and remember me in your life. And at the word they took flight and went up into theair. And when Joseph saw it he was astonished."

We also find mentioned in the same Quranic verse in Sura 5:110, that Prophet Isa spoke

in his infancy. This is once again attested by other non-canonical Biblical sources.

"...you spoke (to) the people in the cradle and (in) maturity..." Sura 5/110

THE ARABIC GOSPEL OF THE INFANCY OF THE SAVIOUR (ORIGINAL

SYRIAC CIRCA 5th 6th CENTURY AD)

"We find what follows in the book of Joseph the high priest, who lived in the time of

Christ. Some say that he is Caiaphas. He has said that Jesus spoke, and, indeed, when

He was lying in His cradle said to Mary His mother: I am Jesus, the Son of God, the

Logos, whom thou hast brought forth, as the Angel Gabriel announced to thee; and

my Father has sent me for the salvation of the world ."

It seems difficult to accept any assertion that the Arabic Gospel of Thomas was

written retrospectively i.e. after the Quranic revelation (by way of Muslim influence). These are relatively early sources and the concepts and terminology of the incident

are very Christian orthodox. For example, one notes the mention of Prophet Jesus being

the Son of Elohiym and the mention of salvation which are concepts countered by the

    Quran.

Now some people would call the Qur'an plagiarized this from the Gospel of Thomas

because this Gospel was here way before the Qur'an.

if he knocks out the tooth of a manservant or maidservant, he must let the servant go

free to compensate for the tooth. Exodus 21-27

The Quran confirms that this was prescribed in the Tawrah:

And We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for

ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." But if anyone remits the retaliation

by way of charity, it shall be for him an expiation. And whosoever does not judge by

that which Allah has revealed, such are the Zalimun. Sura 5/45

Moses staff turns into a snake

"Each one threw down his staff and it became tanniyn (A SNAKE). But Aaron's staff

swallowed up their staffs. Exodus 7:12

    Hebrew: tanniyn (A SNAKE)

The Quran confirms that Moses rod turned into a snake:

So he threw it, and behold! It was hayyatun (A SNAKE), active Tas'a (in motion /

    moving swiftly). Sura 20/20

'Hayyatun' with the verb 'tas'a clearly means a moving, slithering snake / serpent.

"And throw your staff. but when he saw 'tahtazu ka-annaha jannun' (MOVING AS IF IT

jammedthe wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the

Egyptians said, Lets get away from the Israelites! Yahweh is fighting for them against

Egypt. Then Yahweh said to Moses, Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the

waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen. Moses

went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their

left. That day Yahweh saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the

Egyptians lying dead on the shore. And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand ofYahweh displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared Yahweh and put their trust

Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people while you were looking. Sura 3/50

Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, and she became pregnant

months. But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basketfor him

and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the

reeds along the bank of the Nile. His sister stood at a distance to see what wouldhappen to him.

Then Pharaohs daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were

walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female

slave to get it. She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for

him. This is one of the Hebrewbabies, she said. Then his sister asked Pharaohs

daughter, Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for

you?Yes, go, she answered. So the girl went and got the babys mother. Pharaohs

daughter said to her, Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you. So the

woman took the baby and nursed him. When the child grew older, she took him to

Pharaohs daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, I drew him

    returned back to his mother:

And has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? When he saw a fire, he said to

without any disease as another sign, "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater

Signs. "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and

disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant)." [Musa (Moses)] said: "O

my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and

boldness)."And ease my task for me; "And loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue,"That they understand my speech. "And appoint for me a helper from my family, Harun

(Aaron), my brother. "Increase my strength with him, "And let him share my task "That

we may glorify You much, "And remember You much, "Verily You are Ever a Well-Seer

of us." (Allah) said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! "And indeed We

conferred a favour on you another time (before). "When We inspired your mother with

that which We inspired.Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or

a chest) and put it into the river (Nile); then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and

there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with

love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye. When your sisterwent and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to

your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did

kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then

you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here

according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! Sura 20/9-39

Moses killed a man then flees to Midian

One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and

watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating IRVI (A HEBREW),me'echav (ONE OF HIS OWN PEOPLE). Looking this way and that and seeing no one,

he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. The next day he went out and saw two

Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, Why are you hitting your fellow

Hebrew? The man said, Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of

killing me as you killed the Egyptian? Then Moses was afraid and thought, What I

did must have become known. When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but

Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a

well. Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and

fill the troughs to water their fathers flock. Some shepherds came along and drovethem away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock. When

the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, Why have you returned so early

today? They answered, An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew

water for us and watered the flock. And where is he? Reuel asked his daughters.

Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat. Moses agreed to stay

with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. Zipporah gave

birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, I have become a foreigner in a

foreign land. During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in

their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to

Elohim. Elohim heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So Elohim looked on the Israelites and was concerned about

    them. Exodus 2/11-25

The Quran confirms that Moses killed a man then flees to Midian:

We recite to you some of the news of Musa (Moses) and Fir'aun (Pharaoh) in truth, for

a people who believe. Verily, Fir'aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its

people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them:

killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidun (i.e.

those who commit great sins and crimes, oppressors, tyrants). And We wished to do afavour to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers

and to make them the inheritors, And to establish them in the land, and We let Fir'aun

(Pharaoh) and Haman and their hosts receive from them that which they feared. And

We inspired the mother of Musa (Moses): (telling): "Suckle him [Musa (Moses)], but

when you fear for him, then cast him into the river and fear not, nor grieve. Verily, We

shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of (Our) Messengers." Then the

household of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) picked him up, that he might become for them an

enemy and a (cause of) grief. Verily, Fir'aun (Pharaoh), Haman and their hosts were

sinners. And the wife of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "A comfort of the eye for me and for

you. Kill him not, perhaps he may be of benefit to us, or we may adopt him as a son."

And they perceived not (the result of that). And the heart of the mother of Musa

(Moses) became empty. She was very near to disclose his had We not strengthened her

heart (with Faith), so that she might remain as one of the believers. And she said to his

[Musa's (Moses)] sister: "Follow him." So she (his sister) watched him from a far

place secretly, while they perceived not.And We had already forbidden (other) foster

suckling mothers for him, until she his sister came up and said: "Shall I direct you to

a household who will rear him for you, and look after him in a good manner?" So did

We restore him to his mother, that her eye might be comforted, and that she might not

grieve, and that she might know that the Promise of Allah is true. But most of them

know not. And when he attained his full strength, and was perfect (in manhood), We

bestowed on him Hukm (Prophethood and right judgement of the affairs) and religious

knowledge. And thus do We reward the Muhsinun. And he entered the city at a time

of unawareness of its people: and he found there two men fighting, - one ofshatihi

(HIS KIND / HEBREW), and the other of his foes. The man ofshatihi (HIS KIND /

HEBREW) asked him for help against his foe, so Musa (Moses) struck him with his fist

and killed him. He said: "This is of Shaitan's (Satan) doing: verily, he is a plain

misleading enemy." He said: "My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me."

Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. He said: "MyLord! For that with which You have favoured me, I will never more be a helper of the

Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners)!" So he became afraid, looking

about in the city (waiting as to what will be the result of his crime of killing), when

behold, the man who had sought his help the day before, called for his help (again).

Musa (Moses) said to him: "Verily, you are a plain misleader!" Then when he decided to

seize the man who was an enemy to both of them, the man said: "O Musa (Moses)! Is it

your intention to kill me as you killed a man yesterday? Your aim is nothing but to

become a tyrant in the land, and not to be one of those who do right." And there came a

man running, from the farthest end of the city. He said: "O Musa (Moses)! Verily, thechiefs are taking counsel together about you, to kill you, so escape. Truly, I am one of

the good advisers to you." So he escaped from there, looking about in a state of fear. He

said: "My Lord! Save me from the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-

doers)!" And when he went towards (the land of) Madyan (Midian), he said: "It may be

that my Lord guides me to the Right Way." And when he arrived at the water (a well) of

Madyan (Midian) he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides

them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: "What is the

matter with you?" They said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take

(their flocks). And our father is a very old man." So he watered (their flocks) for them, then he turned back to shade, and said: "My Lord! truly, I am in need of whatever good

that You bestow on me!" Then there came to him one of the two women, walking shyly.

She said: "Verily, my father calls you that he may reward you for having watered (our

flocks) for us." So when he came to him and narrated the story, he said: "Fear you not.

You have escaped from the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, and

wrong-doers)." And said one of them (the two women): "O my father! Hire him! Verily,

the best of men for you to hire is the strong, the trustworthy." He said: "I intend to wed

one of these two daughters of mine to you, on condition that you serve me for eight

years; but if you complete ten years, it will be (a favour) from you. But I intend not toplace you under a difficulty. If Allah wills, you will find me one of the righteous."He

[Musa (Moses)] said: "That (is settled) between me and you: whichever of the two terms

I fulfil, there will be no injustice to me, and Allah is Surety over what we say." Sura

The Righteous shall inherit the earth:

This is a direct quotation from Psalm 37:29 which reads,

"The RIGHTEOUS SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH and dwell therein forever." Psalm

    37/29

THE CHILDREN OF HIS SERVANTS WILL INHERIT IT, AND THOSE WHO LOVE

HIS NAME WILL DWELL THERE. Psalm 69:36

THE BLAMELESS SPEND THEIR DAYS UNDER YAWHEH'S CARE, AND THEIR

INHERTIANCE WILL ENDURE FOREVER. Psalm 37:18

FOR THOSE WHO ARE EVIL WILL BE DESTROYED, BUT THOSE WHO HOPE IN

YAHWEH WILL INHERIT THE LAND. Psalm 37:9

THE RIGHTEOUS WILL NEVER BE UPROOTED, BUT THE WICKED WILL NOT

REMAIN IN THE LAND. Proverbs 10:30

The Quran confirms that the righteous shall inherit the earth:

"Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message.`MY SERVANTS, THE

RIGHTEOUS, SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH.'" Sura 21/105
