Muskoka Foundry, built in 1904 as a linen mill, will retain its architecture and historical glory including 50 foot high ceilings, steel beams, brick, concrete and glass. Simply Cottage owner, Jerry McNabb states, “The Town of Bracebridge has been highly supportive of the new owners and their plan for the property. We are thrilled to be part of such a wonderful project.” Simply Cottage will remain part of the 30,000 square foot Muskoka Foundry and open during the development phase. The new and additional uses will create over 60 new jobs with the new business' launch in May 2016.
