TESS BURGLER d'Artagnan Tess is ridiculously excited for this second installment of Family Theatre. OSF audiences might remember her as: Hermione, Rosalind, Ariel, Viola, Juliet, Cordelia, Maid Marian, Rosaline, Imogen, among others. She has been directing the Greenshows at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens for almost a decade. She's also begun to direct for the OSF mainstage (The Complete Works of WIlliam Shakespeare (abdridged) and the remounted production of Robin Hood: An Adventure, with Music). Later this season, she’ll be playing Kate Middleton in King Charles III. She is beyond grateful for you, this theatre, Shakespeare, and her Smallville. JASON DAVIS

Cardinal’s Guard

Jason Davis is exited to be making his Ohio Shakespeare Festival debut!  He was last seen in Weathervane's   Jesus Christ Superstar   as an apostle/Roman Guard.   Past productions at Weathervane include The Rainmaker (Chanticleer Award), The Lion in Winter,   Taming of the Shrew   (Grumio),   Romeo & Juliet   (Mercutio),   Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock), and Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Darcy).  He has also performed as Huckleberry Finn and other roles for The Largely Literary Theater Company.  Jason is thrilled to be in another show with his sister Amanda and wishes to thank OSF for the opprotunity and his family and his friend Dan for their constant support and love!

JIM FIPPIN

Cardinal Richelieu

Jim has been an OSF company member for 12 seasons, appearing in The Winter’s Tale, As You Like It, The Comedy of Errors, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry IV, Part One, Cymbeline, Richard III, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet, and Othello. His resume also includes roles in Four Dogs and a Bone, Uncle Vanya, August: Osage County, Custer, The Real Thing, The Odd Couple, and The Lion in Winter. He holds a BFA in Theatre from Otterbein, where he met his wife, Elaine, and, where their daughter, Emelie, is a sophomore.

DIANA FRANKHAUSER

Cardinal’s Guard / Kitty / Hostess

Diana is ecstatic to be back working with Ohio Shakespeare Festival after recently working on Robin Hood: An Adventure, With Music and The Comedy of Errors. She is a proud graduate of Wright State University’s BFA Acting Program, has participated in The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Summer Professional Training Program for the past two summers, and is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors as an Actor-Combatant. When she isn’t doing Shakespeare, you can usually catch her taking classes at the Houde School for Acting in Cleveland Heights. Other past credits include: Twelfth Night, Pride and Prejudice, Blood Wedding, and The Magic Fire.

TREY GILPIN

King Louis / d’Artagnan the elder

Trey is honored to make his debut at Ohio Shakespeare Festival! Trey’s a Kentucky native who moved to Northeast Ohio in 2006 after working with the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City. As an adopted Clevelander, Trey has appeared at Beck Center for the Arts, Cain Park, Blank Canvas Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Mercury Theatre Company, and more. Favorite shows include Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play   (Matt/Homer),  The Toxic Avenger   (White Dude),  The Importance of Being Earnest  (Algernon),  Dirty Rotten Scoundrels  (Freddy),  Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Van Buren), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho). Trey is an active Equity Membership Candidate. 

NATHAN HOYLE

Rochefort

Nathan’s has been with OSF for four summers, and it's great to be back.  Nathan can usually be seen with a weapon in hand in a fight scene, or trying to convince Terry that the show could use another stunt.   Off stage, Nathan enjoys reading, board games, family bike rides with his wife Kira and step-daughter Liberty, and playing some good 'ol Dungeons and Dragons.   He has his BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Akron.

SARA KATRENICH

Cardinal’s Guard / Innkeeper

Sara is excited to work with OSF again! She appeared in the Greystone Hall debut Robin Hood: An Adventure, with Music as one of the Sheriff's Guards and as Luce in The Comedy of Errors.  She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and is now living in the greater Cleveland area.  Most recently she joins OSF's summer stage as Jaques de Bois in As You Like It and will dance in the ensemble in The Winter's Tale. Favorite past roles include Veronica Craye in The Hollow,   Patty Simcox in Grease and Miss Willie in The Curious Savage.  Sara also enjoys performing with Eastern European folk dance group Living Traditions Folk Ensemble.  All the love!   

JASON LEUPOLD

Music Director

Jason is a local professional performer who proudly holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State and has performed in many theaters both in the area and in NYC. Most recently, audiences may remember him from The Mousetrap (Sgt. Trotter) at Coach House,  Peter and the Starcatcher   (Lord Aster) at Dobama, or  Robin Hood... (Alan-a-Dale) at OSF's new indoor stage. Jason is also the co-host of the podcast Backstage Buddies with OSF-favorite, Joe Pine. As always, much love to his family, friends, the Great 8, and wonderful wife Sarah for their continued love and support.

SYDNEY KELLER

Cardinal’s Guard / Musician

This is Sydney's second season with OSF and she is so excited to be back. She previously appeared in The Tempest as a spirit and Macbeth as a servant/fighter. She was also one of the Sheriff's Men in the fall production of Robin Hood: An Adventure, with Music. She adores the OSF company and is excited to make new memories in the coming years. Huzzah!

JOE PINE

Playwright

Joe has been involved in many of the tremendous new programs offered this year since acquiring the new theatre, still finding time to act in recent productions of Comedy of Errors, Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and Robin Hood: An Adventure, with Music. Favorite OSF credits include Hotspur (Henry IV p. 1), Feste (Twelfth Night) and Stephano (Tempest). Other regional credits include George (Of Mice and Men, Coach House Theatre), Slank (Peter and the Starcatcher, Dobama), Fersen (Marie Antionette, Dobama) and Billis (South Pacific, E.J. Thomas Hall). This one's for you, Lo'. Look, up in the sky--!

JAMES RANKIN

Duke of Buckingham

This is James' first production with OSF and he is ecstatic to be working with this wonderful group of people. James is a local actor who has worked with various theaters around town. Some of his past credits include, Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby at Ensemble Theatre, Mrs. Bumbrake/Teacher in Peter and The Starcatcher at Dobama Theatre, Biff Lowman in Death of a Salesman At French Creek Theatre. He has also done quite a bit of Educational work for Great Lakes Theater, Cleveland Playhouse, and Cuyahoga Community College (Ranging from Directing, Outreach Tours, Workshops, and Teaching). James is very grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank his family, friends, and Kennedy for her love and support.

KELSEY TOMLINSON

Constance Bonacieux

Costume Design

Kelsey is ecstatic to be returning to the Henry C. Bishop stage with OSF this fall. Recent credits include Dorcas in  The Winter's Tale  with OSF. Other recent roles include the Courtesan in Comedy of Errors, Sandra in A Thousand Clowns (Coach House Theatre),  and Maggie in  The Man Who Came to Dinner   (Weathervane). Beyond acting, she has been Costume Designer for Woodridge High School for two years, and currently serves as the Resident Costume Designer for OSF. Audiences may remember her recent costume work from The Winter's Tale, Comedy of Errors, and  The Mousetrap  (Coach House Theatre).  When not doing theatre, she can be found rock climbing, reading, or trying her hand at music. AMANDA VIGNEAULT

Amanda Vigneault is thrilled to get to go on this wonderful adventure with you all!  She was most recently seen at Weathervane Playhouse in Jesus Christ Superstar.  She was also seen recently in Children of a Lesser God at Coach House Theatre (Royal Coach Award).   Other favorites include Sheila (Hair), Eve/Mama Noah (Children of Eden; Chanticleer and NE Ohio Marquis Award), Drowsy (The Drowsy Chaperone; Chanticleer Award), Christine (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels; Chanticleer Award), Woman 1 (Songs for a New World), and Janice (Italian American Reconciliation; Chanticleer Award).  Much love to her family and especially to the adventurer of her life, Adam.…

KATE ZARECKI

Since graduating from Bowling Green State University with a B.M. in vocal performance, Katie has appeared at a variety of venues as actress and/or choreographer.  Some of her favorite past shows are Evil Dead: the Musical, Cabaret  with Blank Canvas Theatre, and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks with Coach House Theatre.  For the past four seasons she has been a part of the Ohio Shakespeare Festival appearing in and choreographing the Greenshows and plays. In whatever free time she has, Katie teaches dance and voice for Wayne Center for the Arts and Cleveland Heights High School.

RYAN ZARECKI

Fight Director

Recently seen in the   The Comedy of Errors, Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) and Lone Star, he can't get enough of the Henry C. Bishop Stage.  When not throwing himself about the set, or building ones for Coach House Theatre up the road, he choreographs/teaches stage combat all over the Akron/Cleveland area, runs the monthly Fight Nights for OSF as well as creating custom leather goods in his Etsy shop The Buckle and Rose. He is blessed to do what he loves and loves what he does.   His incredibly talented and beautiful wife Katie keeps his heart beating and his head on straight, and he thanks you for supporting his theatre family here at the Ohio Shakespeare Festival. Huzzah!

Derrick Winger is thrilled to be returning to OSF. You may recognize him as a regular OSF company member who has tackled Lord William Hastings (Richard III), Owen Glendower (Henry IV, Pt.1), Snug/Lion (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Duke of Exeter (Henry V), King Richard (Robin Hood...), and Sir Toby (Twelfth Night), among various other roles.
