SCHOOL OF MUSIC
SPOTLIGHT ON... ALL THAT JAZZ
The recording/production studio is part of the Music, Media and Enterprise (MME) program, and opened last spring in a suite in Mershon Auditorium. Designed by Mark Rubinstein, a Grammy-winning sound engineer who joined Ohio State as an audio engineer, the facility includes two modular sound isolation rooms, a mixing surface, ProTools audio production software, and a full complement of microphones and signal-processing gear.
The Ohio State University School of Music is a remarkable place where dedicated people make exceptional music, stimulate artistic growth, explore educational methodology, and conduct ground-breaking research. The School is home to over 550 music majors, plus hundreds of students pursuing a music minor, taking course work, or participating in the ensembles.
