1. The video starts with computer edited text saying “Radioactive” to introduce the song. Have the text in a ‘creepy’ font and have the colour of the font light green. Because the name of the song is radioactive.

There is an intro which shows text

3. The camera starts too zoom in slowly and sweeps across the band humming.

The music gets steadily louder as the

camera zooms in. 0:25-0:58

4. The main singer starts singing and there is a close up of him. There is then a panning shot showing the rest of the band either playing their instruments or backing singing.

“I'm waking up to ash and dust

I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust

I'm breathing in the chemicals” 0:58-

1:08

5. The scene is still set in a warehouse, even though the band are preforming for no one. There is a mid-shot which slowly come down from a high angle view to a mid hight shot showing the whole band preforming.

6. The scene changes to the lead singer in a field leaning against a fence singing. This is a long shot that zooms into a close up shot. He is looking worn and tired. There is a long shot as he’s walking along the fence. The shot then cuts to a close up of his face as he slowly looks up. Then the camera cuts to a tracking shot of the lead singer from the side continuing to walk along the field/fence.

“I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones

Enough to make my systems blow

Welcome to the new age, to the new

age” 1:26-1:35

7. The scenery then cuts to mid-shot of the lead singer (which slowly zooms in) sitting in a field by himself, looking as though he is having an emotional think. This scene relates shows the lead singer looking back on his drug fueled lifestyle hence the “flashback”. He believes himself to be “radioactive” meaning he is poisoned by drugs meaning his whole life is essentially dying due to his habit.

“Welcome to the new age, to the new

age

Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive,

radioactive

Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive,

radioactive”

Small slow-motion part 1:35-1:52

8. The scene cuts back to when they are in the warehouse. a long shot angled at the right hand side. the full band at the abandoned bridge shown earlier, singing and playing their instruments. The camera then shows a close-up of each band member individually. Then back to the side/mid-shot of the band. “It a revolution” relates to how his band members are trying to help him stop his habits by revolutionizing his ways.

“I raise my flags, dye my clothes

It's a revolution, I suppose

We'll paint it red to fit right in

Whoa” 1:52-2:05

9. The scene stays in the abandoned warehouse, with a long-shot with a low angle view of the entire band preforming. There are then two close-shots showing the band in two halves playing each band memebers face in slow-motion.

“I'm breaking in, shaping up, then

checking out on the prison bus

This is it, the apocalypse

Whoa” 2:05-2:19

Welcome to the new age, to the new

age”

Small slow-motion part 2:19-2:31

11. The scene skips a side mid-shot of the singer slowly making his way through the feild(shot from side). The scene skips to a mid – range shot when he is the middle of the feild. The walk up the hill shows the lead singers journey to make a new turn in his life improving and coming to an end.

“Welcome to the new age, to the new

age

Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive,

radioactive

Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive,

radioactive” 2:31-2:49

12. The scene cuts to the band playing very enthusiastically in the warehouse again. There is a high angle panning shot it slow motion showing the whole band preforming to nobody. The enthusiasm the band has relates to how much faith they have that the lead singer will prevail. “Sun hasn’t died” means the lead singer hasn’t given up on himself succeeding. At some point zooming in of band member playing the guitar

“All systems go, sun hasn't died

Deep in my bones, straight from

inside” 2:49-3:01

13. The scene changes to a mid-shot of the band back at the abandoned bridge at the start of the music video. Very enthusiastically playing their instruments. This is shot with a slightly lower angle, with all the band members facing the camera. This scene again shows the bands faith in the lead singer. “I’m waking up” means the leads singer has almost beaten his addiction to drugs.

“I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones

Enough to make my systems blow

Welcome to the new age, to the new

age” 3:01-3:13

14. The last shot shows the lead singer reach the top of the hill (side long-shot). The there is a panning mid-shot around the lead singer as he puts his arms out to resemble a cross. The shot then fades to black slowly as the song ends, finishing the music video. The lead singer at the top of the hill symbolizes the lead singer has beaten his addiction and has cleansed himself from drug abuse. His arms out to make a cross shape shows religion may have been a factor (along with his bang members) to beat his addiction.

“Welcome to the new age, to the new

age

Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive,

radioactive

Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive,

radioactive”

Scene fades to black signifying the end

of the song. 3:13-3:32
