Chris ApplebaumChris Applebaum was offered the opportunity to join MTV’s production team in New York City at the age of 19. At 21 he became the youngest director to sign with Satellite films where he directed over 100 videos which led to him being nominated for many awards. Whilst in work Applebaum has directed many successful music videos which can be seen on the next slide.

Examples of WorkThere are many things that are director by Chris Applebaum, ranging

from music videos to commercials and advertisements. Chris has music videos dating back to 1993 and has many recently too.

However the more recognisable ones come more recently with songs like the ones below:

Spike JonzeSpike Jonze (born Adam Spiegel) is an American

director of music videos and commercials, and a director

and producer in film and television, most notably the

1999 film Being John Malkovich and the 2002 film

Adaptation. He is also credited as a co-creator of MTV's Jackass. Although his work may not be of songs

that are more popular he has been successful in directing

many videos and a lot of other work. Music videos to the songs “Praise You” by

Fatboy Slim and “It’s Oh So Quiet” by Bjork.

Joseph KahnJoseph Kahn is a notable American music video, advertising, and feature film director.

Kahn has worked with diverse artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Ashlee Simpson, Muse, Ciara, Monica, Courtney Love, Rob Zombie, Backstreet Boys, U2, The Chemical Brothers, Blink 182, Eminem, TLC, Katy Perry, Moby, George Michael, KoRn, Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa, BoA, Gwen Stefani, Brandy, Pussycat Dolls, Sun Ho and many more.

Joseph Kahn has collected multiple Music Video Production awards. He has won several MTV Video Music Awards with nominations for Best Video of the Year for Brandy & Monica "The Boy is Mine", and Britney Spears "Toxic". In 2002 he won his first Grammy for Eminem's "Without Me" video which also won the MTV VMA's Best Video of the Year, as well as Best Direction.
