Founded by Dr. Ken Budke, b-Calm is led by a passionate and dedicated team of professionals focused on leading-edge assistive technologies and intervention tools with the ultimate goal of quality of life and individual empowerment. What first began as a tool for dental office patients who struggle with the sound of dental drills, it soon became a set of enhanced intervention tools for those struggling with sensory challenges due to Autism and/or ADHD. b-Calm has worked closely with university special education departments to ensure the products are developed for the greatest benefit.

Classroom

In the classroom, the b-Calm GP and PRO systems help students in a variety of ways — whether pre-school, K-12, vocational school or college. • ncreases their focus on schoolwork during independent study. • Prolongs their ability to concentrate, resulting in writing clarity and math comprehension. • Increases their focus when taking tests. • Provides a sense of calmness when the classroom is full of activity. • An effective, natural Autism Intervention • Helps with mainstreaming of special needs students into the general classroom.

Entertainment

We all have our favorite activities — it might be watching or playing our favorite sport, riding our favorite ride at the theme park, or just being around our friends. The b-Calm GP and PRO systems help special needs individuals enjoy their favorite activities in a variety of ways.

• Blocks out irritating and loud noises in busy and active environments, which in turn lessens their anxiety. • Creates a calming environment so they can enjoy a more relaxed experience during their favorite activity. • Gives them the ability to cope with a variety of distractions in an active environment. • Increases their ability to engage in watching or participating in various entertainment activities.
