Most traditional folk songs have no standard form and not given much attention With the coming of the Spaniards and Americans, Filipino underwent a transformation with the influx of western influences.

Guitar made of bamboo The bamboo is cut before one nod and after the next; two cords are slit loose side by side from the outer skin fibers of the bamboo itself and these are given tension by means of bridges
