MUSIC MINISTRY “WE LIKE SHEEP” NEXT WEEKEND This is a delightful musical presented by our Children’s Choir teaching the love of the Good Shepherd. You don’t want to miss it! Star Polishers : be praying for your “star” and be sure and meet to pray with him/her before next Saturday and Sunday’s programs. They should be free to pray around 6:30 pm each night. Parents : make sure your child is here for every rehearsal, includ- ing next weekend’s dress staging and rehearsals (Friday April 9 @ 6:00 pm; Saturday April 10 @ 9:00 am for all choir members) . Also there are a lot of things to do next week, and so far only a handful of parents have been helping. Why don’t you call Stepha- nie or myself with the six most beautiful words in the English lan- guage: “What can I do to help?” All Parents need to stay and help clean up after the Sunday night performance. Our children will sing again for Choir Recognition Night (tentative date April 18 in the evening service) and once more for Children’s Day May 16 (in the morning service). STUDENT CHOIR Tour is coming up really fast: April 23-25 . A $25 deposit for motel rooms is due this Sunday April 4 . After Sunday if you are late it will be $30 . This is to encourage you to get the deposit in because I need to know by next week exactly how many are going. Our students will be singing this Sunday night … if you have family plans for Easter, please try to be finished by 5:30 pm so the choir member in your family can be here to practice. Next Lock-In is Friday April 16 @ 6:00 pm and they will sing again in church that Sunday April 18 . Be looking for a letter this week with more information about the Tour and a chance to let me know if you plan to go as a Chaper- one. Our Home Concert will be Sunday evening May 2 . They will also sing for our Senior Baccalaureate Service May 2 (in the morning service). ******************** The Christmas pictures on the Bulletin Boards are way overdue coming down. EVENING WORSHIP SERVICES

CHARLES COOPER RON MONTGOMERY

UNITED—Things are still going strong on Wednesday nights! I wish I could express just how thankful I am for our group. They have far exceeded any and all expectations I had going into this year. I hope that each one of you will pray for our students. They are under so much pressure from so many different areas and they need our prayers and support to stand strong for Christ. Looking forward to the month of April and all the different activities that are to come! FAMILY NIGHT—We will be having Family Nights, on Friday nights in the FLC starting in the month of May. They will begin at 6:30 PM and end around 8:30 PM. Popcorn, volleyball, and ping pong will be just a few of the activities going on. Hope to see each one of you there! I want to present a challenge to each one of our members for the upcoming month of April. As Christians, one of the most powerful tools we have is to pray. I don’t feel like we use this tool near enough. For the next month, I would like to challenge each one of you to spend at least five minutes in prayer, five days a week. Pray for our church, pray for the lost of our community, and pray for our city leaders. These are just a few things that so desperately need prayer. I really believe the Lord will bless a people pray. Take this challenge and run with it. Let’s get real with God. Jesus over everything, Bro. Michael
