Analyse Analyse • In my results its surprised me that Kerrang is the most popular

magazine to be read. There magazine is of heavier music but features indie music. Indie music is the most popular genre which links the Kerrang bands which are usually indie bands.

• More people then I thought buy music magazines even thought over half of the results don’t. Also the amount spent on CD’s and downloads is more then I expected with over half of the results spending over £10.

• I also would have expected more people to download illegally although the results are high under half of the results showed illegal downloads.

• The music channels are the same ones I listened to showing that teenagers listen to the same channels as each other.

• Gigs and festivals seem to be popular with it also being the most favourite topic.

• Overall doing this survey has lead to me to what type of music my band with be. The magazine I have chosen is to go more indie way. And the artists with this genre of music.
