Name

• I have chosen the name “VIVANT”. The translation from French means to live, lively, vibrant, alive and vivid. The reason why I have chose this name because, most musicians talk about living in their music, or how music is a way of life, therefore this is relevant as my magazine’s name.

Colour Scheme

• I would like to base the colours on spring, because it goes with the meaning of the names of my magazine, as it is to do with life, and vibrancy

• I have chosen a colour scheme of these colours: baby pink/pink, baby blue/blue, green, gold and silver. So that I have spring colours, as well as elegant colours (gold and silver)

Fonts• For the title I would use High Tower Text “VIVANT”, because it has very

good spacing between the letters to make the Brand Identity stand out, also, the spacing makes the letters quite wide, so that the name is able to go across the top of the magazine. Or I would use DFKai-SB “VIVANT”, because it is very elegant, as it is very elongated, which fits into the theme of spring.

• For the headlines I would use: Broadway “HEADLINE”, because it makes the magazine have a Hollywood aspect to it. As well as having different dimensions to the text, meaning they have very bold parts and contrasting thin parts of the text which makes it unique.

• For the normal text e.g. hybrid’s I would use: DFKai-SB “Hybrid” or EucrosiaUPC “Hybrid”, because they are both simple texts, but very easy to read, which means my front cover wouldn't be messy with a lot of different fonts around the page.
