We are building up our collection of jazz recordings, and we have started with these 26 out of the
100 recommended by Dr. Hamilton as essential to any self-respecting jazz listening library. To keep
costs down, we decided to purchase physical copies rather than subscribe to Naxos Jazz database.
Artists represented include Charles Mingus, Sonny Rollins, Woody Herman, Chick Corea, Herbie
Hancock, Lee Morgan, Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, Max
Roach, Carl Fontana, John Coltrane, Clifford Brown, Art Farmer, Bill Evans, Art Blakey,
Count Basie, Lester Young, Freddie Hubbard, & Cannonball Adderley. 7-day check-out!
