    ARTIST TECH RIDER

    1. ARTISTSRequirements are as follows:

    2. PRESENTERagrees to provide the following:

    (a) Suitable and appropriate hall for the performance of the ARTIST.

    Rooms, hallways and stage shall be cleaned to the satisfaction of theARTISTor ARTISTSrepresentative.

    (b) At least separate changing rooms adequate for up to

    performers.

    (c) !echnical staff necessary for set"ups, stri#es (including light and

    stage arrangements), and run of show as specified in technical

    requirements. Additionally, all facilities shall be staffed as may be

    necessary for all activities including concession sales, plus staffed for theperformances.

    (d) !ic#ets, sales of tic#ets and all front of house personnel$ all

    advance publicity including announcements, mailings and printed

    performance programs. %resenters are to return all unused materialsimmediately after performance.

    (e) Access to performance space(s) and crew the entire day of performance,

    plus adequate rehearsal time preceding performance in the same spaceand with the same crew, plus a full technical rehearsal prior to the

    performance. &ighting focus shall be completed in advanceof performance.

    (f) !heater ' performance space ground plans and instrument ' equipment

    inventory wee#s prior to ARTISTSarrival$ equipmentnecessary to all or any activities of performance ' residency as listed in

    technical requirements. etails of such needs to be sent with other stage

    and technical requirements (See !*+-*A& R/-R0!S).

    (g) A hot meal () after

    sound chec# on the day of performance for ARTIST. Also, bottled water

    for each artist during performance.

    (h) A conspicuous location where ARTIST1s merchandising can be sold,

    including standard table and chairs.

    (i) %ar#ing spaces, validation or coverage for performers and technical

    staff, if needed.

    (2) All lodging for performers and technical staff .

    (#) /pon request, a minimum of ( ) complimentary

    tic#ets to said performance.

    3. ARTISTagrees to provide the following:

    (a) %ress #its including photographs, articles, reviews and program copy.

    (b) %rogram copy supplied shall be reproduced in full and e3actly as

    offered to the PRESENTERin all printed programs. All references to theARTISTin paid or unpaid advertising, announcements, house boards,flyers, posters, publicity releases and any other promotional materials for

    the service (s) above shall be as follows:

    !he ARTISTshall have the right to alter the performance program sent

    to the PRESENTERat any time up to and including the performance.

    (c) Availability for newspaper, maga4ine, radio and television interviews

    as desired by PRESENTER, if logistically feasible.

    4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS(to be furnished by PRESENTER):

    (a) STAGE: Requirements for stage are a minimum of feet wide by

    feet deep of flat surface, without any obstruction (such as, but notlimited to nails, bro#en floor boards, electrical outlets, poles, wires). All

    flooring, mas#ing and hanging ' circuiting ' patching of light plot will be

    completed before arrival of ARTIST.

    (b) FLOOR: All nails and staples must be removed, holes filled or taped

    and unused floor poc#ets covered. !he floor and wings must be clean,

    and swept, prior to rehearsal and performance.

    (c) LIGHTING: ARTISTcarries no lighting equipment. -t is mutually

    understood that a light plot for the individual theater will be formulatedby the PRESENTER, and that the PRESENTERStechnical staff will

    ta#e care of all lighting design, hanging and loading in for this event. -t is

    also mutually understood that all lighting design and technical aspects ofthis event must receive prior approval of ARTIST.

    (d) SOUND REQUIREMENTS:

    ARTISTcarries no sound equipment. PRESENTERmust provide a first

    class sound system that includes:

    (5) main house amplifier(s) of wattage each.

    (6) A house spea#er system including:

    (7) ( ) downstage stage monitor spea#ers.

    (8) A separate mi3er for monitors.

    (9) ( ) microphones and stands: vocalmics$ boom stands, regular

    percussion mics on boom stands.

    () A headset intercom system with stations for the Stage 0anager,

    lectrician (s), Sound !echnician, ;ollow Spot ) A mi3ing board with inputs and technician, plustechnician for monitors on stage with reverb available.

    (e) STAGEHANDS: !his is not a yellow card attraction. Stagehands may be

    non"union unless local regulations require that union people be employed.PRESENTERagrees to employ and pay all stagehands, whether union ornon"union, including loaders, if required. Stagehands must be the same

    people for both rehearsal and performance.

    (5) %RS!R shall provide a @!echnical irector with wor#ing

    #nowledge of facility and with authority to representPRESENTERand to act as assistant to the ArtistBs Stage 0anagerat all times.

    (6) Stagehands (number to be determined by !echnical irector) are

    required to wor# the set"up prior to ARTISTS arrival.

    (7) *ertain specific technicians shall be provided by PRESENTER

    for rehearsal'sound chec# and performance as follows:

    " A monitor technician on stage

    " A guitar technician to assist guitarist during show (can be a

    staff tech)

    " A dec# technician (may double as spot operator)

    " A light board operator (and assistant if necessary)

    " A sound technician for front of house

    (f) DRESSING ROOMS: !he PRESENTERwill provide ( )

    clean, private dressing rooms, one for and the otherfor up to band members, and not allowing public

    access to the performance area. ach room must have ma#e"up lights andmirrors, chairs and tables, costume rac#, nearby lavatory and sin#, and be

    close to the stage. !he PRESENTERmust also supply

    , bottled water, and healthy snac#s. -naddition, the dressing rooms are to be heated or cooled to the ARTIST1s

    satisfaction.

    (g) REHEARSAL SPACE: Stage must be available for sound chec# andrehearsal three ( ) hours prior to showtime.
