PRINCIPLES OF BIOCHEMICAL KINESIOLOGY • Everything is energy and is vibrating at a specific frequency

• All food has a vibrational frequency that either raises or lowers our energy and can be muscle tested

• There are many aspects of our being - physical, biochemical, and mental-emotional

• These aspects of our being affect each other, therefore our biochemistry affects our emotional state and our physical body and vice versa.

• Dr. George Goodheart, the founder of Applied Kinesiology discovered that each muscle, meridian & organ has specific nutritional needs.

• He also found that when muscles test weak, they can be strengthened with the proper nutrition placed in the person’s energy field, and the frequency of that nutrition tunes the muscle for peak performance.

• This is because of the muscle-organ-meridian relationship these nutrients can also help the organ function and meridian energy flow.

THINGS TO DO TO MAINTAIN BIOCHEMICAL BALANCE

• Eat fresh, organic foods, which are most energizing to the body

• Avoid processed devitalized foods, which are energy depleting

• Stay adequately hydrated: drink ½ oz. per lb. of body weight per day sipping water every 20 minutes

• Maintain a balanced blood sugar level avoiding added sugars

• Eat 70 – 80% alkalizing and 20 – 30% acidifying foods

• Eating adequate amounts of fiber to keep the colon clean

• Consume adequate amounts of essential oils

Avoid CATS:

• Caffeine

• Alcohol

• Tobacco

• Sugar

Consume ACES:

• Vitamin A

• Vitamin C

• Vitamin E

• Selenium

The key to physical and psychological health, performance, immunity and longevity is:

• Eating high energy foods

• The balance of primary neurotransmitters

• The balance of body’s hormones

• Detox of heavy metals

• Clearing candida overgrowths

• Clearing parasites

PRINCIPLES OF MUSCLE TESTING

• Manual muscle testing can be used to assess energy flow within the meridians and organs to determine where energy blockages are and where there is stress in the physical body and organs.

• We can use the nutritional finger mode by touching the thumb to the middle finger to assess when the body wants nutritional corrections to bring it to optimum health and function.

• Every muscle is associated with specific nutrients and if the body is deficient in those nutrients it can cause the muscle to test weak.

• We can use the priority mode to determine exactly which muscles are priorities to balance and which nutrition is a priority.

• When the muscle changes from weak to strong, or from strong to weak when holding the priority mode, it indicates that it is a priority.

PRIORITY MODE

• When a person is out of balance there are usually many compensations like dominos that go out of balance as a result of certain key blockages.

• It has been found that about 80% of things that test out on a person are actually compensations. If you work on a compensation either you will not be able to fix it or it won’t stay fixed

• Therefore you want to make sure it is a priority before balancing it. There can be more than one priority at a time. When one priority is balanced it is possible that a factor that was not a priority earlier can emerge as a priority.

• To discover if something is a priority, retest while holding the mode shown here. The pad of the middle finger touches the crease of the thumb joint.

• If the muscle changes (usually it will be a weak muscle becoming strong), then it is a priority. Remember the phrase: “A change is going to do you good.”

• When testing food supplements you can retest ones that test strong while holding the priority mode. If the muscle changes from strong to weak it indicates that taking that supplement is a priority. Again, a change is going to do you good.

All food has a vibrational frequency which affects the body’s energy. Some foods raise the level of energy and others deplete it.

We can use muscle testing to determine how an individual reacts to certain foods. What might normally be thought to be a good food may not be good for an individual person right now.

A food that turns a person’s muscle off today may test fine after they are brought further into balance, or do procedures to detoxify their body, or eat the food less frequently.

BIOCIDIC FOODS - or foods that deplete energy and performance:

1. Find a strong indicator muscle (IM), such as anterior deltoid.

2. Place two fingers on the side of the top bone of the neck (around GB 20) on either side of the person you are testing or have them touch there with two fingers. Touching here asks if any of the body’s systems would be adversely affected by the food.

3. Then put the food in the person’s circuit by having them do any of these (in order of accuracy):

4. When testing vials in a test kit, you can have the person touch several at a time and then if they test weak, touch them individually to see which ones in that group test weak.

• Hold the food on the midline of the body

• Touch a vial of the food

• Smell

• Taste

• Look at the food

• Think about the food

FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING

THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER Without adequate amounts of pure water the body’s electrical system is impaired and the lymph system and organ function suffers.

• The lungs are 90% water

• The heart is 80% water

• The brain is 75% water and utilizes about 30% of our water intake

• Whenever you have stress or pain drink water

• To determine the correct amount of water intake for an individual without muscle testing, take the body weight in lbs. times 1/3 to 1/2 oz. of water per day.

HOW TO TEST FOR THE NEED FOR WATER Tug on the person’s hair in order to stretch the skin and test an indicator muscle. If it tests weak it indicates they are not adequately hydrated and need to drink some water.

After they drink at least 4 ounces of water, retest and they should now test strong. You can discuss with them the importance of drinking water and encourage them to drink more throughout the day.

With “Yes/No” testing you can check to see how much water is best for them to drink.

State, “More than 50 ounces per day” test. “More than 60 ounces” test, etc. until you find the muscle goes weak.

• The muscles are 76% water

• The skin is 72% water

Many different factors can affect the results of testing a specific food:

• Whether it is organic or commercial - such as a vegetable or fruit, grass fed free range beef as opposed to grain fed.

• How the food is prepared - eggs that are soft boiled, hard boiled, pouched or fried.

• How it is combined with other foods - fruits and carbs don’t mix well with proteins.

• The amount of a food or beverage - such as of coffee: 4 oz., 8 oz., 16 oz. 20 oz.

• To determine amounts or frequencies muscle test asking their body with a yes (strong) or no (weak) response for a food. For example say,

• “4 ounces of red wine with a meal” test. “8 ounces with a meal” test.

• “1- 8 oz. cup of coffee per day” test. “2 cups per per day” test.

• “4 ounces of beef” test. “6 ounces of beef” test.

• “Oatmeal once per week” test. “Two times per week” test. “Three times per week” test.

FACTORS THAT CAN AFFECT HOW FOODS TEST

BASIC NUTRITIONAL PRINCIPLES

• Drink adequate amounts of pure water

• Eat 70 – 80% alkalizing foods

• Eat a lot of raw foods – particularly vegetables rich in color

• Avoid over-cooking - steam vegetables

• Use cold pressed oils and avoid those cooked at high temperatures

• Avoid devitalized foods - processed, colon clogging (white flour & white sugar)

• Avoid synthetic foods - e.g. margarine

• Avoid meat from animals fed hormones to speed growth (chicken, turkey, beef)

• Avoid farm raised fish

• Limit or eliminate your intake of pasteurized dairy products; raw milk can be good

• Avoid foods with additives, added sugar or salt

PROCEDURE FOR DETERMINING NUTRITION FOR MUSCLES If you find a muscle testing weak, retest the muscle while holding the nutrition finger mode- the thumb to the middle finger. If it now tests strong you know it can benefit from nutrition.

Look at the nutrients for that muscle and if you have the supplement or a food present that is rich in that nutrient, have them hold that on their midline. If not, just say the food or nutrient then test.

Retest and if it now tests strong, it confirms that it could benefit from that food or supplement.
